I recently had the pleasure of dining at Koba, and two standout dishes stole the show: their Lamb Fried Rice and Pho everything. Both dishes left such a lasting impression that I feel compelled to share my experience. Lamb Fried Rice: A Flavorful Delight The Lamb Fried Rice was nothing short of extraordinary. The rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, with each grain separate yet cohesive. The lamb itself was tender, succulent, and infused with a smoky, savory richness that complemented the other ingredients beautifully. It’s the kind of dish that’s both hearty and satisfying, ideal for any meal. Pho: Comfort in a Bowl As for the Pho, it was the perfect balance of comfort and complexity. The broth was deeply flavorful, with a fragrant mix of star anise, cinnamon, and cloves, balanced with the freshness of herbs and lime. The noodles were soft and perfectly cooked, while the meat was tender and generous in portion. Each spoonful felt like a warm, soothing embrace. Whether you’re familiar with Pho or trying it for the first time, this bowl will leave you coming back for more. Ambiance and Service It had a cozy, welcoming feel, perfect for a casual meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a place that serves top-notch food with an authentic and flavorful twist, I highly recommend Koba. The Lamb Fried Rice and Pho are absolute must-tries. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to return.

If you’re in the Parkersburg area and craving exceptional Asian cuisine, Koba is a standout choice. Here’s why: Delicious Food: Koba excels in delivering flavorful dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. From the moment you take a bite, it’s clear that they prioritize taste and quality in their cooking. Customizable Dishes: One of Koba’s unique features is their willingness to cook dishes exactly the way you like. Whether you prefer something spicy or mild, or have specific dietary preferences, their chefs are accommodating and ensure that your meal meets your expectations. Affordability: Compared to other restaurants in the area, Koba offers a remarkable value. You can enjoy a satisfying and delicious meal without breaking the bank, which is a significant plus. Great Value for Money: The combination of high-quality food and reasonable prices makes Koba a great option for both casual dining and special occasions. It’s not often that you find a restaurant that delivers on both taste and affordability. Koba is a gem in Parkersburg’s dining scene, offering tasty Asian cuisine with a personal touch and budget-friendly prices. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I was born and raised in this area but when I got married, my husband and I moved to Florida, then Texas. We recently moved back to Marietta. One thing I knew wasn't the best in the area was the food scene. There are some very good places but when you've been to big cities like Miami and Dallas, your standards are a little high. (I know it makes us sound uppity, but we like good food!‍) But let me tell you this place does not get enough credit/recognition as it should! But this place was absolutely amazing. We ordered multiple things to try and every dish blew us away!!! I will tell everyone I know to go here!

-The Pho was so flavorful! -The Gochujang chicken over rice was my favorite thing, it is spicy but not over the top. -Bao buns were the best we've ever had, soft pillowy buns and fall apart pork belly I love that I could pick the sweetness level of my Bubble tea drink!

I would put this restaurant up against any other Korean/Vietnamese location we've ever been to! AND they are not expensive and clean!!!

Seriously if you get a chance to go....GO!!

Also….if you order Pho to go, the meat does come raw, the broth is supposed to...
