Panera Bread — Restaurant in Vienna

The worst experience I've ever had at a Panera Bread. Ordering and paying was fine. Cashier forgot to give me my pager. Had to walk back up front and ask for it. Then realised they also never gave me the apple juice box for my daughter. The registers were swamped so I walked back up front and I stood at the specialty drink counter to ask for it, Since it's RIGHT there beside the fridge where they keep them. The guy making drinks completely ignored me for 5 minutes. Would not even glance at me. So I walk up to an employee talking to the food preparation employees. After she was done talking, she asked if she could help me. I told her they forgot to give my my drink and asked if I may have it. She tells me I have to go back up to the register to get it. Then begrudgingly says she'll see if she can get it for me. I follow her up front so she doesn't have to walk back to where we were (even though I am pregnant and have hip issues due to the pregnancy). I get the drink and say thank you. She was polite back. Add my salad being gross and very unpleasant to eat, I feel like it was a waste of money and time to eat where I felt like a nuisance trying to get the things I ordered and paid for. Customer service after you pay is non-existent there. I don't feel the want to eat at a Panera again...

Wonderful friendly employees that made me feel like family!! I do not live in a city with Panera or other fancy coffee places so I had alot of questions about the menu and what meant what. Counter person very nicely explained the options to me and laughed with me about my thoughts on making my decision. My friends and I sat and enjoyed the pleasant, clean, welcoming atmosphere while we chatted and laughed. The manager Kayla came around and asked if everything was okay and was so pleasant, open and friendly! We had a couple of very nice conversations with her about our experience with ordering, the products offered, her crew of employees and the clean welcoming atmosphere. All of the employees that I saw were properly wearing masks ( their smiles showed in their eyes and words) and everything including the restroom was spic and span clean! Even the employee that was taking out the trash seemed happy, was masked, had on clean clothes and was friendly! Thank You all for taking steps to protect against the COVID 19 virus! Thank you all for being great and providing a fantastic place to come in and relax and enjoy ourselves! Thank you, Kayla, for running your shift in a fashion that had everyone happy to serve and enjoy! This was a awesomely fun visit and I will come back...

Ordered from the Pick 2 meal. I ordered a Steak and White Cheddar Flat Bread Sandwich with a salad and chocolate pastry. The flatbread sandwich was OK. The bread was a little too burnt for my taste. but the sandwich was pretty tasty. I give it a 4 out of 5. The sweet tea was watered down a lot for my taste, which is southern style and sweet. I give it a 3 out of 5. The Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad was SUPERB! It was the pinnacle of taste for the whole meal! It has chicken slivers in iceberg lettus then filled with very healthy items such as, blueberries, strawberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple and an unidentified dressing that was sweet. This is definitely worth its price. I give it a 5 of 5! The chocolate patry was fantastic too. It was fresh, soft and flaky, and sweet. The chocolate was a little skimpy so I'm rating it a 4 out of 5. The service was outstanding though. The waitress helped me through the ordering process and the chefs were fantastic in quick preparation of the food. The value of the price verses the food is a little expensive. I rate it a 3 of 5.
