Me and my friends came in, ordered our food, where told to sit anywhere we like. My bill was 20.09, I paid 21 and put the change in the tip charge and the woman behind the register was initially thankful. None of us where under the impression whatsoever that that woman deserved any tip at all; she only took our order and walked it around the corner to place it on our table. In any other circumstance such as delivery or dining in at a genuine restaurant where the bill is brought at the end of the meal, a tip would be so logical it’s almost compulsory. However in this instance me and my friends agree, a compulsory tip like such stated is unheard of. Furthermore, she attempted to make herself sound righteous by insisting anywhere else would do something to our food if we where to tip like that. Overall the food was pretty good, but the woman behind the counter seems entirely entitled and ungrateful for our business, and on top of that, unpleased that’s she’s supposedly unable to stand around and get paid without customers kissing her behind. Insisting you deserve a tip will never get you a tip. Previously at this location we’ve had wonderful service, I hope this never...
Read moreWe've tried Michael Anthony's 3 times within the last year of moving to the area. The first time we ordered sandwiches. I had the italian beef - it was so dry I ended up finding soy sauce in our fridge and adding it to my sandwich to provide some flavoring and moisture. I tired the beef a second time thinking I had to have had a fluke sandwich. Nope, equally as dry. We decided to try one last time but get a pizza this time because we've heard good things. We ordered te buffalo chicken pizza.... the cheese tasted like plastic. My husband said it tasted as if it was cooked by a light bulb in an easy bake oven. For $17 for a 12inch pizza, we could have bought 2-3 decent quality frozen pizzas and had a better tasting dinner. We gave them three times and it's been a major let down. We will never be eating...
Read moreFirst of all let me tell you what makes great pizza, other than Michael Anthony's... when i pick up the pizza i don't want my hands to look like I've been drawing chalk(flour) outlines of dead bodies. The crust is not over doughy and not over cooked, but sturdy and holds all added ingredients well. Ingredients were spread out nicely throughout the whole pie. Sauce, i don't want to remember my pizza either famous or infamous because of the sauce. Cheese cannot be completely piled on top of cheese with more cheese, I want to taste ingredients, not constipation for 2 days after I eat the pie, okay. GOT IT, good! Oh and those broccoli cheddar bites are better than I imagined. A+ guys and gals, thank you. You'll be seeing a lot more...
