The girl behind the counter was not nice. Even though it was her first day she shouldn't be making faces at me, clearly being annoyed when I was describing to her what I needed due to allergies (and judging me asking me why numerous times), and leaning against the counter where the breads and sweets section is. The girl that was training her was also not very nice, but not as bad as the other. It took about 15 minutes of explaining simple things to what my order was. This girl looked so crabby that I finally just politely said that I hope she has a better day. She said with an unkind face that it was her first day and rolled her eyes laying her head into her arms while leaning against the counter. I hope better, kinder, management will learn how to address and train people better. Especially what to not do around food. My buzzer went off and I went to get my order and it looked like a deep fried chicken breast sandwich... I asked them and they said it was a seared chicken breast. I've never had that before...it was supposed to be a simple grilled chicken breast sandwich. But I just thought I would go for it out of trust with Panera restaurants. As soon as I started eating it, I knew something was off, but I was very hungry and just went with it. The rest of the day I felt sick, totally bloated, and felt like I was getting food poisoning. I can leave the details out, but let's say that I'm still suffering a bit a day later. I hope they weren't annoyed by my order and nothing went into it. I've not had issues here before, but I know they are repeatedly trying to find help. I hope that girl does have a better day at, and learns something from this experience (and the family of older ladies before me) because customer service is #1. And management, don't fire her, just teach her how to do well in the food...
Read moreTerrible experience. Ordered online due to a time crunch. Was supposed to be ready at 12:58. By 1:08 the food was still not out. Went in the restaurant to see about it. I was told that they never got the order because their power went out. (But yet the online alert said it was received and ready) Went out at waited some more. Finally, at 1:23 the girl brought it out. Pulling away and noticed that they did not give us utensils despite me requesting on the online order. Went BACK in and stated we did not receive utensils and was told that "I didn't need to be rude ma'am. " I said, it's not being rude to state that I didn't get something that I specifically requested. Then the same girl who brought our order out handed me utensils. Started to walk away but turned around and had to go back AGAIN because she gave us forks and knives when we ordered soup and sandwiches. She was out of spoons so she had to go in the back to get some. Finally drove out of there at 1:35 for an order that was supposed to be for 12:58 and treated rudely through the entire frustrating process. Food was ok. Soup was good. Sandwich was bland and tasteless. They were out of sourdough so had to sub with another tasteless variety. Haven't been to a Panera for a few years and don't anticipating going back...
Read moreAfter numerous stops at numerous Panera’s, this Panera in Plover, WI, is always the worst Panera for our family. The dining room tables are consistently dirty and sticky like someone almost got them wiped off with a dirty cloth. The staff are way too busy talking to each other to notice customer needs and the cooks consistently get our orders wrong at this location. This time we got baguette instead of the multigrain role we chose from the cashier’s offered as a alternatives. The cashier at this location also never seems to understand any order that has any substitutions or changes, and things get confusing as she try’s to sort out taking the order by constantly interrupting before you can finish your sentence. The bathroom could have used a once over and the cook seemed totally unaware of the microwave available under the coffee station when I inquired about getting a roll warmed. Of course the knob on the microwave was sticky. The food was good because it’s Panera food but the staff at this location needs some customer service training and needs to pay attention to details and the...
