The cost for haircuts far outweigh the quality that a person receives. I took my daughter, three of her children, and myself, to get haircuts. We all looked butchered afterwards. I called the manager and was refunded my money and made an appointment with another stylist to fix my grandchildren's hair as they were starting school the next day. I told the manager that I would have to wait to fix mine as my bangs were three inches above my eye brows and it needed to grow out. My daughter was afraid to have them touch her hair again. I just went back and had a "master" stylist cut my hair, thinking that with that, plus a $ 20 tip, paying closer to $100 , that I'd have a great haircut. She put product in my hair and I told her that I don't use product and when I washed and dried my hair, my issues still existed. I called the salon, thinking that they would gladly take care of their customer and a person set up an appointment for the weekend. The stylist who initially cut my hair left me a voice message starting I'd have to pay for the cut again and canceled my appointment. They lost a lot of business today as I won't be taking any of my family there again. If you are looking for a place that wants to provide you with great service, don't go here. It's hit or miss and with how expensive it is, it's not worth the emotional hassle or your hard earned money. What kind of salon won't fix a...
Read moreMy daughters and I visited recently, looking for a solution to a mysterious hair problem. It was my first visit. As others have stated, we walked in, made eye contact with 2 clerks who were holding a casual conversation and completely ignored us. No recognition we were there and obviously waiting. When I approached and interrupted their laughing together, it all changed. Very interested, attentive and willing to help us find the right person to advise us. The first clerk admitted she did not have the more advanced training she thought we needed but took us to another woman. This woman have us 2 options and also mentioned that a recent change in medication might be causing the mystery, talking to our doctor would be advised. The product she led us to has helped quite a bit. We are not planning to take it back, as the generous return policy on hair and makeup products would allow. We asked another worker for a specific kind of glove, which they used to handle but don’t now. Later, the same woman found us with a pair of gloves that they use as an alternative. This was the exact item we wanted that we always got at Shopko and now cannot find anywhere. This would be a 5 star rating, except for the odd lack of interest when we entered the store. I do not really...
Read moreI was in town for business and came in for a spontaneous hair cut. As I stood by the counter trying to get a stylists attention, the red headed lady kept making eye contact with me but proceeded to hide her face in front of the other stylists who's back was turn towards me (I shifted by position and made eye contact with her at least 2x). After a good 2-3 mins I finally was able to get the attention of the stylists whose back was turned towards me (even though the red headed lady had seen me and proceeded to ignore me). I asked if they do walk ins and if they had any openings for a walk in. As the nice blond lady was explaining to me their policy and availability, the red head stood there shaking her head at me, did not acknowledge but instead judged me. She seems like she did not want to service a person of color or had any interest in helping. This is disgusting. The redhaired lady was so rude in her silence- eyes rolling and continued to shake her head. I stood there and watched them both walk away from the counter- she was still shaking her head. She was such a rude person. No reason to act the way she did. Is this the kind of service you allow and accept from...
