In Waukesha, and I was dying for a big a$$ crispy chicken salad. Tally's was close, so we decided to give lunch a try. We were not disappointed! I ordered their classic giant pretzel appetizer (they had other varieties too!), which was served with beer cheese and honey mustard. Delicious. My wish came true with their Cobb salad. So many items in this salad: spring greens, spinach, grilled chicken, bacon pieces, egg, avocado, cheese, tomato, red pepper and more! No crispy chicken options but this salad was fantastic! Hubby had the AL Copone sandwich. Italian sausage Patty with a side of marinara. He opted to exclude onions and peppers. He think the Patty had some cheese in it. He chose house chips which were great. I asked if they could pack up the rest of the chips which I devoured on the way home. He enjoyed the sandwich but either the sauce, Patty or both were a bit spicier than he likes. Would we go back if in the neighborhood? YES! Many other choices to try.

2 different appetizer orders. Pork carnitas nachos. Appetizer consists of homemade tortilla chips, provolone and Monterey jack cheese sauce, Pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapeño cintro, and shredded pork. Portion size was a 1/2 serving option only but was enough for 1 adult. The appetizer was good. Liked the pork and liked the jalapeño cintro sauce. Would order again. Supreme nachos. Appetizer consists of homemade tortilla chips, cheese sauce, tomatoes, black olives, green onion, and ground beef. Sour cream and salsa on the side. Portion size options are half and full. Ordered full. Full size was enough for 2 adults. The appetizer was ok. I didn't care for the seasoning choice on the ground beef. I wouldn't order again. Both appetizers are served as a stacked food. Meaning there's plenty of non topping chips on the bottom.

We stopped by on a chilly Friday night for a fish fry, as we heard it was pretty good. Although it was cold outside, the heat was on inside, almost got a little warm towards the end of dinner. The place is pretty big and and we didn’t have a problem getting a table for our family. Our waitress was very quick and got us our drinks right away! The menu is HUGE and everything sounded so good! We all go the fish fry, but the good the the other tables all looked good. The fish fry plates were ginormous, could definitely have spot with someone. Prices weren’t too bad for food or drink and would definitely go back to try some more of the menu!

If you like simple but done well, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of bar food dishes that are cooked just a couple of notches up. We enjoyed everything we tried. We only have good comments about the food. We've been going to this place time after time, the kitchen crew continuously pump out good food that are seasoned and cooked well. The plants in the patio are very pretty to make a tranquil area even with the busy traffic from the street and the train noises you get. Kudos to the green thumb that arranged and planted the plants. The service here is excellent. We were immediately greeted by a server just as we walked in. We asked if it is possible for us to sit in the patio. She said, let me check with the back bartender. While we wait at the host area, not exaggerating in the span of 20 seconds, we were greeted a 2nd and a 3rd time by two different people to make sure that we were being helped. That just shows the level of the attentiveness of the team at Tally's. Shortly after, I think her name is Amber (clear green glasses) asked us to pick a seat outside and she will be behind us with the menu. While we walked through the back I noticed that the bar was semi full of few four tops, couple of 2 tops, and a party of 12. I was worried that we would wait very long to be helped. No worries, the server that greeted us and sat us introduced herself the second we sat down and asked if she can get drinks for us. I'm sure we were not in her section and she was asked to serve us since the back bartender was a very busy. Her section was in thr diining room. We are grateful that she did that even though I'm sure that was a hassle for her. Our two little boys turns into monsters when they get hangry. Amber was a ninja! She put in our drink orders and the boys dinner immediately just like we asked. We didn't have to wait long at all after that to put in our dinner orders. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. She was very pleasant and personable without making it about herself. We didn't have to wait that long at all to get our food. The entire staff worked together to create a seamless dining experience for my family. We never had to ask anything twice. Thanks to the Tally's crew who continues to provide excellent service and top notch food and drinks. See you all soon! Come support this...

The food is good. Decent portions and good selection. The staff is…rough. In the later evening/night they are great but during the day, not so much.

I have dined in on multiple occasions during the day. And the hostess just kind of picks and chooses who she wants to seat instead of doing first come, first serve. Have even had other customers who were waiting correct her that I was there before them. And she seemed very upset either by the fact that she had to seat me or that she was corrected, maybe both. She also made a point to tell the server of this so then the server had an unpleasant attitude the whole time. And this has happened more than once. These are not people I know personally, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Even years back when they did delivery services with third-parties, I witnessed them be very nasty to the delivery drivers who came in to pick up orders. As in the drivers would just walk into the building and the staff would start being very verbally aggressive, almost accusatory, towards driver. The driver hadn’t even had a chance to say anything yet. It was all very bizarre.

I don’t understand all this angry and aggressive attitude towards people who are just trying to work or patronize the business. I would think you would want people in your restaurant? But they don’t seem to feel that way for whatever reason.

And, on an unrelated but important note, the parking here is god-awful.

So if you do want to try this place out, I suggest going at night for the highest probability of a good experience and a...

I am giving this review as a 5 star review. This is based in the omniscient, the fact that it was extremely busy the whole entire time my family and I were here. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, really enjoyed the light show as well. LOL this was due to severe weather that was fading the electricity off and in for about 10 mins. The appetizers were phenomenal, my daughter had the crispy chicken wrap.....omfg it was devine!!! My wife had the garlic encrusted grilled cheese, THE best!!! Myself, I had the AYCE fish fry. Well......

The first plate I had was amazing. Totally worth the money. When I went for my second plate, that's when things got , well, icky for me. Our server asked how many pieces I wanted, I replied 2. She then goes and brings me a plate with 8 pieces on it, and I'm sure the kitchen staff told her to do it. The 8 piece tasted very greasy, old, no flavor. The breeding was soggy and gross. It made my stomach very upset. Due to the business of the evening, I decided not to say anything at the time, but to leave it in my review.

I have eaten fried fish fries in this state since I was 2. I have eaten everywhere from the top to the bottom, east to west. I have even had fish fries in small towns you never knew existed in WI. The 2nd plate really was disappointing. I am not sure I would ever eat it again. Thus was the only negative thing I had to say about our evening.

Also the stuffed pretzels are to die for, just...
