One of the two girls with the Husky build Was very rude to myself and female companion. There was also a young man working in the back or standing in the back rather peeking around the corner laughing as if they were making jokes about us being frustrated do to the bad service. There were no vegetables in half of the trays and The trays they did have veggies were very low on vegetables and wilted and some looked quite disgusting There were also peppers mixed in with the onions and olives in the peppers ... The girl making the sandwiches became very frustrated and rude toward us for asking her to please pay attention because she was putting the wrong vegetables on the sub while she was chatting with the visitor... Aside from having to repeat ourselves 3 to 4 times to get her attention I had to literally say to her “I am going to leave a bad review for your behavior and are you guys OK in here by yourselves” Because they were acting like small children the type of children I would not trust around my food. Being a fat guy I decided I wanted some cookies to help my stress levels after looking in the cookie container all the cookies were broken into pieces I asked what happened to the cookies and she said “they broke” ....to me it looked like people are reaching in there grabbing pieces of them and eating them and by people I mean the staff or children. I spent $23 on two sandwiches and got treated very badly and I’m not happy about it I will be trying to contact the owner of Rupert directly to see if there’s anything you can do to compensate me for my discomfort in this establishment. I was very very disappointed and I am scared to go back I have only been there four times the other times were good but it was not these children serving me. I hope their parents can speak with them about their behavior and how to treat other human beings and I’m very happy that my medication has me at a therapeutic levels or I might’ve hurt one of their feelings....
My female companion crave subway no matter where it comes from so I took her back there a couple of days later I did not go she went in.. And the guy that was hiding around the corner Was now attempting to make subs for customers and I literally timed her while she was in there with one person in front of her ordering three different subs it took him 28 minutes to complete the person’s order and hers which is four subs - There was one of the girls working with him and thank God she stepped in to assist him and throwing vegetables in between two pieces of bread... Going back to the cookie situation I had my female companion grab me a cookie while she was in there and I am happy to report it was not torn into 50 pieces like the others. Read moreUnpleasant going in, unpleasant going out. My mother and I went in with a simple coupon which stated 2 footlongs, 11.99. Firstly, the staff seemed antsy, not really any fault of their own, it's late at night and almost no one's there but the least I could get is a polite hello.
We took our orders, A meatball sub and the chicken Teriyaki sub. Both subs were requested to be toasted. This is where things become a disaster, but we didn't know until home when we ate(4 minutes away by the way). Anyways, the coupon was stated to be unable to cover my meatball sub with the Teriyaki because the meatball sub didn't qualify(both are signature subs by the way). Thankfully, they honored the coupon even though it said NOTHING about the meatball sub not qualifying. At the same time as they were deliberating the coupons, I was getting my meatball sub set up. This is partially a mistake on my part but, I ordered with ranch and jalapenos, but the jalapenos I stated to go light on. Originally that was 4 jalapenos, 4. That's nothing, light on jalapenos is still enough to know they are there. Got that sorted and added ranch to my sub. Finally we got home to eat. My sub practically fell apart as I picked it up. Possibly the Ranch's doing but my mother's sub was not faring much better. It was soft, moist. Remember that toasted bread we talked about? Yeah that's supposed to stop the bread from getting so soggy.
