El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Violet Township

We went to El vaquero 6/17 around 19:00. Our waiter took our order and returned roughly 20 minutes later, checking on us for the first time. The waiter asked us if everything was fine, and then asked if we were ready for our check, though we had not even received our food yet.

Our food was eventually brought out, though it was missing one of the entrees. The waiter doubled back about five minutes later, looked at me, and said, "oh, you ordered such and such", and then walked to the back. My entree finally made it to the table about 8 minutes later.

Once we finished eating the waiter came back and asked if we wanted to go boxes, and quickly returned with them. About five minutes later the waiter walked by again, with our plates empty and to go boxes in plain sight, and asked if we would like to go boxes again.

When bringing the check, the waiter remarked that he didn't charge us for the sodas, though the table had ordered water.

To sum it all up, very poor service. Food...

I go here often and I sometimes get good service and the food can be good if they bring it our right which 9/10 times they never bring out the correct order, I would say I'm a regular cause its near my house but the last visit was my last straw, all out food came out wrong our guac was not made with fresh avocado and tasted terrible , my friends quesadillas had so much water in them which was very odd and barley any cheese, and all my sides were wrong, and when they finally brought out the correct side they were gross and watery, then to top off the night we asked a employee who wasn't busy for napkins and she literally rolled her eyes and told our server to grab us napkins. I just wanted to write this review to let you know me and my whole family will no longer be coming here after the constant disrespect and bad service I'm completely over it and wouldn’t recommend ANYONE...

This was the worst service I have ever received. The server, Victor, took our order and as we were awaiting the food, he came over and asked if we were ready to pay our bill (he is the one that took our order). Eyebrows raised - umm, once we eat, yes is what I told him. There were 3 of us in our group. One did not get his food - Victor said - I forgot Sir. We sat and waited for our third party to be served so we could all eat together. Bringing by a box at the end, we put our leftovers in the box. Victor again came by and asked if we needed a box. He had just brought the box. This servers English is very good and I've been to this location on several previous occasions - have never had such poor service.
