I am furious with my visit to Chipotle this evening. I eat Chipotle two to three times a week. I tried online ordering for the first time. I picked up my order at the window and checked the items. I was not happy, so I went inside and asked for more rice on the chicken bowl, as there was hardly any in the first place. The young lady said that she couldn’t touch the bowl that I brought inside. She mentioned something about Chipotle’s health and sanitary regulations and food handling procedures. I said “okay, but I would like more rice please, because there isn’t enough.” She stared at me for a moment before replying “I can’t touch that. I can give you a side of rice in a separate bowl. Is that what you want?” I said “sure, that’s fine.” As she finished, I said “I would like my burrito remade because it seems a bit small.” She just stared at me, and at the burrito, and back and forth again before asking me what was on the burrito. She was clearly unhappy that I was kindly asking her to do so. She made me feel uncomfortable and regretful for even coming inside to ask that my order be fixed in the first place. I left the original burrito (that I didn’t want) on top of the glass, thinking that she would throw it away. As she turned the corner to complete making the burrito, she slid the bowl of rice to the register, even though no one was there- she didn’t bother to hand it to me or put it in my Chipotle bag, so I just did it myself. After wrapping my burrito in foil, she handed it over to me and said “have a good day.” I said “thanks, you too.” As I went to the utensil station to get a couple forks, she said loudly “ma’am, can you get your burrito?” I said “oh, I don’t want it. You can toss it.” She said “I can’t.” I said “you can’t throw it away?” I was confused, as she was right next to a trash can, at her left hip- inches from the burrito and inches from the trash can. I didn’t understand why she wanted me to come all the way back over, just to throw the burrito away, when she was already right there. I started getting angry. She said “I cannot touch it.” And she said something about the health and sanitation regulations again. I still don’t understand- this burrito is now “trash”. If Chipotle workers can clean up all areas of the restaurant, including leftover trash from customers at the tables, why can’t a Chipotle worker throw away/ clean up what is now trash? It’s right there, in front of her. I came all the way back over to where I had sat down the “trash” and tossed it in the trash can, right next to her. I really hope that someone can speak with this employee about professionalism in the workplace. I will never come to this Chipotle location ever again. And I want my money back from this visit.

Tonight I did a pickup order and they handed us out the wrong order. We told her and she said she gave my order to someone else and would remake. About 6 or 7 minutes later we watch a guy pull up and go in, he comes back out a minute or so later and grabs a Chipotle bag from his car and walks back in. She hands him the bag I had given her back and walks over to the drive thru window to hand us the bag he had brought back in. My husband told her we weren’t taking the order that had left the store with another customer and was then returned as we would have no idea what happened to the food when it left the building. She said oh he’s doing door dash so it’s fine, he’s not allowed to mess with the food. The order we had received the first time was not marked door dash or sealed up or anything and if it was door dash I don’t know how he would have left with a completely wrong order (obviously wrong too, we had more food), left the parking lot and everything and somehow realized on the way the food was wrong and returned it. So my husband tells her he doesn’t care if it’s door dash or not, we want it remade and she doesn’t say a word just closes the window in his face. He goes in and speaks to someone else who agrees that order should be remade and has the receipt from my order and proceeds to make the burrito wrong which we don’t realize until we get home and it’s 4 minutes from them closing. No make it $5 and keep them right where they’re at please. The chicken on my burrito was SO flavorful and juicy today that I wanted to smack the person in my passenger seat but there was no one there!! Juice was just falling off the chicken whew Hands down the BEST chicken I’ve had since coming here. Cheers to the chicken chef!!! No pictures to show because I inhaled that burrito. **Separately As I read the other reviews there is a lot of truth to the inconsistency with my food when I come as well as customer service at this particular location. It appears that majority workers here are being forced to work. That’s the vibe I get. Not really enthused. Not really people friendly. Just providing just enough decent service (politeness) to get by. I’ll always visit this location because I can just drive up to the window on the go and the food itself is not bad at all however in order for you guys to hit the next level I do humbly suggest sharpening up. I have previously paid an additional $2.25 for guacamole and only received a baby portion in my burrito. Today’s burrito, the chicken was at the bottom of the burrito but it was delicious as stated above. VERY delicious but I basically ate a burrito full of rice and toppings.
