I normally don't write bad reviews...I'm not that kind of person. But I only speak the truth and I don't exaggerate. So here's your honest review.
I've ordered from this place probably a hundred times over the years, this location exactly. Normally wasn't any problems. EXCEPT for the last three times. So three times ago, I didn't receive my food for over an hour, no call no communication no nothing...and there was no excuse for this. I called and they refused to do anything about it. Which should have been the end of ordering from there for me. But unfortunately, it's the only delivery besides pizza that takes cash still. Which is really sad. Cash is legal tender for all debts, you can't deny it.
Two times ago, I received my food quick, but the roast beef was horribly chewy and full of fat. The entire sub. I ate the bread with toppings. Had to throw the meat out. I called, but did they do anything? Nope. Not a "sorry", not a credit, not a we'll remake your food...NOTHING...so that time I said yep I'm done with them.
Well we moved, and unfortunately it's the closest location to us now. And I was craving a hunters club bad(double roast beef)...so I ordered a giant so I had enough for later. Now we live a half hour plus away from this location now...so it's not easy to just go and get it replaced. So I get all the way home, mind you I'm deathly sick and that's no joke, and open my sub up and it's ham. Not roast beef. Yet the receipt clearly says hunters club. If you don't know what your sandwiches are, you probably shouldn't be working there. It ain't that hard. There's never any signs on, no lights none of that and it always seems dark and closed. So whoever works there doesn't seem to care about their job or customer service.
So do NOT order from this location. It used to be good. It's not anymore. It's a joke and the CEO needs to go in there and figure out what's going on. It's one of the easiest jobs you...
Read moreYour employee needs a lesson in what it means to “close at 9.” I went to the store at 8:40 and ordered one of your new toasted subs. Employee said “our toaster is off, I can’t toast.” I must have looked confused so he said “we close at 9, so…” I said “you don’t have a toaster?” “We do,” he said. “It’s just off for the night.” “You can’t turn it on and toast my sandwich?” “No, ‘cause we already shut it off.” I paused, then ordered something else. Instead of listening to my order, he said, “Are you mad?” Again I looked at him, puzzled. “Mad?” I said. “Yeah, you seem mad, I mean we are closing soon…” he said. Continuing on, “we’re not the kind of place where we stay for an hour after closing time to clean up. We leave directly at 9.” I backed away from the counter, so he knew I was finished ordering and so he might hopefully stop telling us all the things he’s doing wrong as an employee. My boyfriend watched him start making my sandwich and immediately slap tomatoes on the bread, which I had just asked to be left off of my sandwich. “She said she didn’t want tomatoes,” boyfriend chimed in. Employee seemed flustered, apologized a couple times. He gave us one of our two sandwiches for free, which was very kind of him. This isn’t a complaint or criticism of the Pickerington store or the employee, but rather a plea that this employee be trained to serve customers better. Like, if you’re going to close at 9, that means you serve food till 9. If you have to - gasp!- turn the toaster on to toast a customer’s sandwich… you turn the freaking toaster on. Hopefully a manager can correct...
Read moreFirst AND LAST time at Jimmy Johns for us. We picked this particular one because of the specificity of location on where to use the $20, good thru November, 2025. Someone I worked with had given me the $20 certificate as a gift. We brought my MIL with us for lunch before a movie at Marcus. After we all ordered and we gave the discount certificates towards payment, the staff person picked up the phone n called the owner to see if they took them. We pointed out that their specific store was on the certificate. The owner had the staff person ask where we bought them, which we didn't know because they were a gift...and it shouldn't have mattered! Apparently, the current owner recently bought the store and had his staff tell us they would not honor the certificate and said we should reach out to whoever sold the certificate to get our money back from them. If my MIL wasn't with us, we would have left immediately. NOT a business that made us feel welcome or appreciated our business at all. And they won't...
