Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Violet Township

This Canes was my first Canes. I had it with my gf on Valentine’s Day. They had little valentines decorations up and the place looked cute for a little fast food place. The girl at the front who took our order was polite and fast. I got the Caniac combo and some Hi-C fruit punch as my drink, my gf said their tea was good so that’s what she went with. I tried her tea and it reminded me of Asian buffet sweet tea. When my food arrived, I opened up the Cane sauce and went in. The chicken was crispy on the outside, yet moist and tender on the inside. The sauce is difficult to describe but I could tell it would go great with shrimp if I had it, but it went well with the chicken too. Fries were average but not bad, just some heavily salted crinkle cut fries. I do gotta say, I don’t like cole slaw really, but I absolutely loved the cole slaw from here because although it was flavorful, it wasn’t too much with it. The cole slaw was crunchy too. My daughter and friends went thru the drive thru and paid their $60+ order with a $100 bill. An older one.. apparently the kids working here don't know how to identify a counterfeit. The counterfeit pens they have on site apparently don't work. So they took her money and called the cops. The cops then make her and her friends follow them to the police station where they then determined it was REAL MONEY.. not only did the police detain my girls for no reason, Canes has not reached out or apologized. Not a peep. The money was real the whole time. Ridiculous. Used to like canes, the people working there are incompetent. Especially the "assistant managers" who refused to accept fault once I confronted them about it. There was around 12 employees stuffed in there on a sunday evening and about 6 of them were doing something. Talk about time theft lol.. Won't be...

Ordered a larger catering meal...super easy to do over the phone. The order was confirmed multiple times which made me very happy. Upon arrival, the associates seemed very disorganized. I paid while they packaged everything up. I stepped to the side to wait for them to finish packing everything up. Then the associates just set everything off to the side and walked away. Like I wasn't standing there waiting. Finally had to get her attention after several minutes and ask for my bags. She looked very confused. I showed my receipt to her then she handed everything over. Once we got to our location and unpacked everything, all of the sauces were forgotten.
