Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

So we gave this specific location one last chance and will never return again. The first time we went our order was given to someone else by mistake so we waited for it to be remade. About 3 months ago, I placed an online order (in advance, several hours earlier). When I arrived to pick it up, the lady employee could not locate it, then she walked out the door and left. Another employee walked up and asked how he could help & I said, well the employee that just left was trying to locate my order. I asked if my order had been sitting for the 3 hours as I had received an email shortly after that I placed it that it was ready. So he proceeded to locate my order. I think they were still making it. Then today, I ordered the food on the Marco app around 1pm to pick up at 5:35pm. During this time I again received emails they started my order right away & it was ready at 1:30pm. Again, hoping that was not the case. Husband goes to pick it up at 5:35pm & it can’t be located. They can’t find a record on my name or the order. I even texted the email confirmations for my husband to show the guy. Evidently order was never made, who really knows. So they had to remake the entire order (2 pizza bowls, 2 pizzas & cheese bread). Who has time to wait - that’s why I ordered online in advance. Order should have been ready 20 mins ago. The food is good, but the service is terrible. We gave them 3 chances. We will not go to this...

Update:4/19/24 - I just decided to give another try to this business. Disappointed again.. I ordered what they call the Pizzoli, which is not on the website. I ordered the buffalo chicken with light sauce simialr to pizza roll or wrap. I received a roll filled with cheese, no buffalo sauce and what appears to be three small stripes of chicken with a little cup of ranch I did ask for. The whole roll was roughly less than 5 inches for $7+ dollars... There will not be a third time!!! SEE photos.

Initial post: Well, this is a new location..... Now I would have given them 4 stars for cleanliness, for not letting the cook do the register or folding boxes or doing anything else without thoroughly washing hands up to the elbow. Great!!! This was a good thing! Now the food on the other hand. I just ordered the Pizza bowl and wings. The Wings 4 Stars. The bowl was supposed to be a two-serving bowl based on the writing on the menu. Well to my surprise, it was not and only enough to cover the bottom of the plastic black bowl and not even half full. This should have been double the contents if was to be a two-serving bowl for the price as advertised. I am nearly done with just three quick scoops, so glad I ordered wings I would have been still hungry. This was and is only enough for one serving or person. I didn't want to leave a horrible review because of extenuating circumstances(can't control traffic) My rating of 4 stars is primarily because whomever I spoke with when I called the establishment was friendly and kept open communication. I ordered my meal within the 1pm hour for a scheduled delivery of 2:15. Granted I know things can get crazy especially with traffic so I waited an additional 15 minutes for my food to arrive. A little after 2:30 I called as my lunch break begins at 2:30. I was informed the driver was stuck in traffic. Again I understand, a hour passed by I received another call stating the driver would be bringing my food shortly and other details were discussed regarding the wait which I appreciated. I received a voicemail from the driver informing me that he would not be delivering my food. I work 13 hour shifts I had already missed my lunch break which prevented me from seeking other options and I have 4 more hours until the end of my shift before I can actually get food. So the entire ordeal was pretty frustrating once I realized that I would have nothing for lunch. Again I only gave 4 stars because the gentleman I spoke with...
