McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Entirely too much going on at the McDonald's. They have the kiosk's, mobile ordering, drive through and counter ordering, and they are also carrying the food to the tables. I understand they are trying to make an unforgettable dinning experience, but it is entirely too much going on for the handful of employees they run on shifts. Since the mobile order app, kiosks, and delivering the food to the table started, the wait times for the drive through and walk up have increased exponentially. It was already a 50/50 shot in getting the correct order at the counter or drive-through the first time. I came in today about lunch time to grab some food with my son. Pulling up the lines were wrapped around the building, so I decided to go in and order ( figuring it would be quicker). Wrong. Three different groups sitting at tables waiting for food, two people at kiosks, 2 in line for the counter, and one employee at the register. It took 10 min just to get my go round at the register, as the cashier couldn't enter their orders right several times and had to have someone higher keep fixing it. After finally getting my order , I waited, watching the same three groups still waiting for food. It took 15 mins for them to be served...2 with orders that were wrong and had to be corrected. It got soo confusing that they couldn't figure out what orders were whose and were mixing things up. By this time I had been standing there for 25 mins watching them line bags up and then disappear to take a table a tray of food, then go to the back to the back. Finally I get my number called to come receive my bag of food, which was cold. The nuggets were cool/ room temp, my son's cheeseburgers were cool/room temp and the fries had already started to get hard.. no point in turning around to get it fixed, I really didn't feel like waiting another 25 mins for more cold food. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at this McDonalds. I don't think I'll ever return to this location. Very disappointing.

You guys need to go back to your roots ::Burgers and Fries,...

Three times I have subjected myself to the disappointment this location provides. Yes, fool me once... Shame on.. Shame on.. You..

Anyway, if you've read this far and have yet to decide whether or not to avoid this place, I reiterate; this is on par with, possibly surpassing, the very worst fast food experiences I have ever suffered.

Each time I made the mistake of visiting this place I tried every thing I could think of to make the process as easy as possible for the poor souls trapped here, I used the mobile app and ordered just a couple very basic items (ie: 1 McChicken, 1 McDouble) to no avail, each visit I waited a minimum of twenty five minutes twice in the drive thru, and again at curbside, and sadly no, it wasn't at an odd wee hour in the morning, this was ten PMish. I remember my second tour through the drive thru very distinctly, the fella informed me that we were now simply waiting on the food... Ok no worries bud.

Fourteen minutes to get to this window, another 19 sitting at the window waiting for this food, a medium fries, one McChicken, one McDouble, at last! Here's the long anticipated meal or snack or whichever word you'd choose to call it and, no sir, what exactly were we waiting nearly twenty minutes at this window for...? The fries were.. Not simply undercooked or cold, there were still ice crystals on the things, the cheese on the burger was so cold it actually broke off into chips rather than flexed or melted in the wrapper, and for some reason it entire thing was completely drowned in ketchup, nice try but that wasn't going to mask this failure.

The McChicken was equally confusing and disgusting, the lettuce was brown, the bun soggy, and just like it's cousin completely soaked in it's choice condiment, hopefully it was mayo, but anyting spossible, innit?

Look, I get it.. it's bad enough I'm dumb enough to eat these things when their reasonably presentable, but to subject myself to repeated disappointments at this place is just stupid. A three time loser I am here.

Terrible service!! There is never enough staff working. Overnight there is only 1 employee who has to work the drivethru window and make all the orders by himself. I do door dash and i absoulutly hate this location. If your a delivery driver, never accept pick ups from this location or your going to lose money big time. Last night i waited in the drive thru for an order i kid you not for over an hour and 12 mins. Then the next night i said what the heck they might have just had a random rough night it happens. But i get another order from this location and again waited 20 mins before i even got to the speaker menu. When i got there because of how understaffed they are i was told to please wait before i tell him my order "which was just door dash". Waited 5 mins for them to get back on the speaker and during that time a car had jumped infront of me tottatly skipping the speaker. So finally they tell me go to 2nd window. After another 20 mins goes by, i get to the window and tell them my order # only to find out they gave it away to the lady who skipped the line and didnt bother asking her what the order number was instead they just said door dash? And she replied yes as they snatch the bag and drive off. So now i pull up and tell them my number and they look confused saying they just made that order gave it away. I showed them im clearly doordash and that they gave my order away and let the car who jumped inline steal my order. So after 45 mins i had to wait another 30 mins for them to cook my 13 cookies, 40 nuggets, and apple pies which took an extra 10 mins on top of that. This place is a joke and will kill your ratings as delivery driver. They obviously have no employees and cant handle the work load. 3am should not be waiting over an hour for fast food drive thru. Thats just unacceptable. Maybe new management is needed. Somebody please help this place out and fill out an app quick so we can get these fries and burgers going out like its name "fast food". You would think there cooking thanksgiving turkey as long as it takes them to get them...
