Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Had an issue last night (Saturday) where I ordered at 9:20pm and arrived in drive thru at 9:45 or so to pick up. Sat at the window for a a while and there was no movement inside.

Drove around the building once to see if I could see anyone.. no one inside. Only thing I could think is that maybe there was only 1 person working and they were in the bathroom for an extended period. I tried calling while I was in the DT, no answer. Eventually I just drove back home.

This morning, I called there and explained the situation to a gentleman who did offer to replace the food. Since the fryers were not operational yet I could not get my entire order replaced, but he did offer to replace the wings with pizza, or give me a refund. I accepted the pizza alternative and when I got there, he told me he had found out the order was voided, so I had already been refunded. I went home with a refund and an extra pan pizza to cover the inconvenience and the gas money I spent driving there and back twice. If you are looking for the worst Pizza Hut in the Hampton Roads area I suggest the one on Kemps River here in Virginia Beach. I had order pizza online and lets just say estimated time of arrival was scheduled for 12:15pm. After calls and promises made to me the Pizza I ordered finally came at 3:30pm. Ridiculous. Every call I made to follow up to see where it was I was told first that they didn't know where their driver was. The manager then promised to remake it and bring it to me, it about 1:30pm now. at 2:30pm I call back and get placed on hold for 8 mins. I don't receive the pizza until 3:30pm. This experience had me so upset that I refuse to ever put my money towards this location or any Pizza Hut business ever.

I have worked in Customer Service Most of my Life and I also had worked at Pizza Hut when I was in High school and never ever would have my manager allowed this to happen. Called and place an order over the phone. Specifically said I have 3 book it slips for the free individual pizzas. She said ok those are free. You just owe for your 3 medoum pizzas it will be ready on 20 minutes . I get there. Hand the person the book it slips and my card. He charges me for the free pizza and says I must have ordered wrong and not said anything about the book it slips .... you have to pay because it is in the computer and you still owe for the other pizzas ...SAY WHAT!!!!!! after much debate with them and the manager, of whom says I still owe for the pizzas and I can refund you the money but it takes a week. A WEEK FOR A REFUND THAT WAS THEIR MISTAKE!!!!!! UM NO. 15 minutes after pulling up, now cold pizzas they finally agree to lose a whole 1.50 that is the difference in the other pizzas I ordered.
