Alright so, friend and I went to get food for us and our RM. They were working on a skeleton crew and was drive through only.
This was fine, I'm not upset over waiting because they can only do so much with 3 people.
However, once we pulled up to the speaker, my friend was cut off while confirming we were picking up an order. Fine, they're running around trying to serve the window as well.
We pull up, and are left waiting while the manager is left having to run back and forth with an order that was parked to the side. She seemed overwhelmed from it all.
When we are handed our order, we only get part of it and are already told to leave. We ask for the rest, they take the receipt and only give us another part of what we ordered. I ask for the rest and they, visibly annoyed, go and get the rest before we can finish saying anything. I also tried to ask for a frosty we ordered and were told the machine was down in a condescending attitude as if I should have known when ordering in the app.
I understand how frustrating it is working fast food with a regular crew let alone a skeleton crew. I really feel like if it weren't for the fact they're kept to a time limit per order, they would be able to properly help with orders rather than being pushed to a point of almost lashing out at customers. Higher ups often forget that humans have limits, no matter how much you pay them.
Regardless, we don't plan to come again, just for the sake of it having been...

When we pulled up Anthony rudely requested our order, to which we replied “one second” while we confirmed our orders. Anthony then huffed in impatience, and we stated our order after literally a second of confirmation. Then he couldn’t even repeat it back and struggled to confirm it with us. He was clearly an incompetent clown with zero training. We then proceeded to the window and paid with April. April lacked customer service as well and was very unprofessional. We waited for over 15 minutes for two basic meals. Which really confused me since Anthony appeared to be in such a rush. During the wait April checked in with us once and advised they had to “switch the coke orders” and “hopefully they even have coke” and never apologized for the inconvenience. Stopped there to grab something to eat before my son had to go to his volunteer job. we went inside so we could eat in the dining area (It's hard for me to eat and dive as I drive a stick shift). When the cashier asked what I wanted to drink I said a fountain drink and looked over at the Freestyle machines. She informed me that they BOTH were out of order and she'd have to get my drink for me. The Freestyle machine is one of the ONLY reason's I come to Wendy's as I feel the food is just OK. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I asked for a Vanilla Sprite because it's the only drink I could remember from the Freestyle machine.
