My first visit to Anna's and it was quite satisfying. I was seated quickly (party of one) and the menu is quite robust. The waitress advised me to get the large draft beer (20 oz), and it was significantly less expensive than many other establishments. Weeknight happy hour is 3-7 pm. I ordered the 12-in sausage sub with peppers, onions, and tomato sauce. It was a generous sandwich, and I was OK with needing a knife and fork to get it started. Anna's has good food and offers good value. Most of the tables were filled when I left at 6:15 on a Tuesday.

We love going to Anna’s Restaurant! Anna makes a great Appletini! I forgot to take pictures of the rest but we are here a lot so I’ll add some later! Started with the cheese sticks, very good! Wednesday is pizza night so we split a pizza. So. Much better than Papa John’s or Dominion’s haha! My mom got the clam chowder and like it a lot! We also shared the deluxe salad. No olives add feta. Very good too! Anna is always working and has a smile on her face! I know she appreciates our business and we like to support local restaurants! Cheers

Good pizza. My fam loves it and they are picky with their pizza. I especially love the crust, brick oven is my fav. I really like their Works pizza, margarita pizza, and fried ravioli. If you go during 3 to 6, the ravioli, bruschetta, and small margarita pizza was around $6 or $7 each, so a good deal. Update #1: This time I ordered from DoorDash. I got a small cheese with half sausage and a calamari app. It was all good! It was around $30 but the quality is worth it! It was enough for at least 2-3 people/meals.

Update: 1/2022 The food has taken a dramatic downturn, as has the service. I'm not sure where they're finding servers but on multiple occasions, (different servers) customer service has been way below the bar of even "in the weeds" service. Here's my honest review. Annas 5-10 years ago, is not Annas today. Quality down, cost up. Service Subpar-Outright rude. I understand the challenges small businesses are facing, as I have one of my own however; I think Annas has some weird mindset that they're bigger than they are. (Notwithstanding the purchase of Giuseppes whose food has been changed considerably and is no longer very good.) There are a hundred pizza places on Hull St. If customers continue to choose You during this time, you should make sure your staff understand the gravity of that. Annas is not bigger than anything or anyone and as of this writing, has lost at least 7 guests at both Annas and Guiseppes. When you hire servers local to your neighborhood, you have an obligation to your consumers to make sure those servers understand that when an "adversary" from HS walks in, they aren't TWELVE. They do their job or ask for co-serve. That being said, I've seen many small restaurants shutter because cost kept going up and quality and service kept going down. Annas seems to be on that path. (At least to me.) Side note: I did ask for a supe. I did call after 3 separate visits. I didn't want free food. I wanted the food I paying for and the service to match. (As evidenced by the fact that the angry and rude servers still got tipped because at the end of the day..they have to live with themselves and everyone deserves a fair wage.)

One of the best pizzas I've had since leaving...

My meatball sub was subpar. If the meatballs weren't frozen, they tasted like it. My sandwich was served on an average 10 inch roll, they cut the meatballs in half and for some reason I received 5 halves. The sub was weak and had way too much cheese. I did like the sauce but there wasn't much on it. I only ate half the sandwich the fries were frozen fries, nothing special. I also ordered a well shot and was charged for a mixed drink. When I asked about that I was given some lame response about how they have to input the price for each and they just started.??? I work in the food industry and usually a person is charged more for a mixed drink vs a straight up shot. Because of the cost of additional product and the work put in to produce the drink. I may try again if im in the neighborhood but I was less then pleased. I tipped 20% butbim not even sure who my server was. I was sat and received my drinks from one person and finished with another while the first sat with her BF. Neither gave me thier name. I hope this helps with the service in the future. Definitely liked the vibe and feel of the restaurant. I was hopping since you were a restaurant your food would be better but it was below average pizza joint. Perhaps the...

So I was recommended this place by a family member for my son’s bday dinner. The food is nothing spectacular, but the service was terrible. My son turned over his drink by mistake. The waiter said she would wait until we left to get it up. So then the owner gets upset that the rest of us had to walk through it to go to the restroom, which then turns into a big argument with my party of 9. We felt attacked because how are you mad at us because your employee left sprite all over the floor? We are the ones that are be putting in an unsafe situation environment and if you had a problem it should have been with your employee. After our meal was over $100 we can’t safely walk to the bathroom? & you’re mad at us? I’ve always heard that italians don’t like black people but this experience has confirmed that suspicion for me. In my 30 years of life I have NEVER had such a stupid argument in any restaurant, let alone the owner who is in the wrong! I wouldn’t recommend anyone with kids come here because God forbid they make a mess or have to get up to go to the bathroom. The food is mediocre at best and they definitely don’t have the customer service. Rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere and I...
