A True Hidden Gem in Arlington – Sushi Garden is a Must!
I don’t usually write reviews, but Sushi Garden absolutely deserves the love. This spot is a hidden gem tucked into Crystal City, and every time I visit, I leave with a full heart and an even fuller stomach. The quality of the sushi here is simply unmatched for the price – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you with warm hospitality. It’s a cozy, no-frills atmosphere that feels welcoming whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a relaxing dinner. The service is always attentive without being intrusive, and they genuinely care that you’re having a great experience.
My go-to order is the spicy tuna roll and the dragon roll – both are packed with flavor and expertly prepared. The fish is always fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned, and the portions generous. I also love their miso soup and the tempura appetizers – light, crispy, and comforting.
Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just getting into Japanese cuisine, Sushi Garden delivers every single time. I’ve brought friends, family, and even coworkers here, and everyone ends up falling in love with it. It’s local spots like these that remind you food doesn’t have to be flashy to be phenomenal. Read moreYou're not seeing double. I love the garden roll, and my husband loves the rainbow roll! Forget anything that I have said about any other sushi place on the East Coast. Set back from Wilson Boulevard at the corner with North Pierce, this small, impeccabile, unassuming restaurant is perfect if you and a couple of friends prefer a sushi counter, grab and go, or outside seating. The people who work here are charming, generous, and constitute the other main reason for going back again and again. They contribute to exceed expectations.
Update: The last time we went, our favorite rolls were significantly smaller. Whereas this had become our favorite place for sushi rolls, I am not sure now. We will probably give the restaurant one...

My coworker and I were visiting from California and decided to try this restaurant, arriving about an hour before closing. Despite the late hour, the owner and his assistant were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.
We ordered sushi, and they prepared it fresh and delicious. But the real highlight was trying bibimbap for the first time. The staff took the time to explain the dish and even showed us the proper way to enjoy it. Their personal touch made all the difference, and we truly appreciated their care and hospitality.
It’s rare to find such genuine service, especially so late in the evening. If you're ever in the area, don't miss this place — the food is amazing, and the people are...
