Panera Bread — Restaurant in Virginia

This storefront is usually squared away when eating there... However, this last visit was anything but. -One of the DIY ordering screens didn't want to take any of several payment cards, after plugging in customized orders for three people. (Frustrating) -They actually had run out of "spring greens" which is used on several sandwiches, but more so on the majority of salads. I asked if this was due to some sort of recall and they said "no, we just ran out ot them". (They were also out of pecans which is in the salad I went there for...😳) -They did find "a bag or two of greens", but the several items in the Fuji Apple Chicken salad was quite skimpy, dressing, whatever cheese crumbles, pecans, apple chips. Went up to the pickup bar and did ask for additional on these which they did provide. The initial state of the salad was a 3 out of 10. -Rest of the food for 4 other adults, and three smaller kids, was fine. Everybody chowed down enjoying their meal without any issues. (It was just my salad, my luck !! LOL 🤪) -The cleanliness was average, some dirty tables, but nothing to cause concern. This Panera location is fine, they just hopefully had a temporary issue...

A good place to eat in the Woodbridge area. As of late 2023, there are a total of 2173 Panera Bread locations in the United States of America across 50 states and 1369 cities. This is one of the 83 locations in Virginia and one of the 2 locations in Woodbridge. It is located down the hill from the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Touchstone Circle, next to a Safeway store and across the parking lot from a McDonald's. We walked into the location and found the counter is to the right as you enter with the seating a mixture of tables and large windows to the left-hand side. There are some tables in an enclosure outside the restaurant to the right of the door separated from the walkway by tasteful wooden walls. We were greeted upon entering and the nice man that took our order was very helpful and friendly. I have seen the other comments on Google about bad food, poor service, and unclean location but I did not see any of that. The location was clean. There was plenty of food. I ordered several souflees and a coffee. The prices for all Panera locations are higher but I have found it worth it for the consistent food quality, nice atmosphere, and...

In the past year I've tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt.. First there was a long curly hair in my salad. Then my rapid pick up order was stolen within minutes of me getting there. Next my order had specific simple instructions that were clearly ignored. Lastly order stolen again!!! I completely understand it is of no fault that the stolen food from the shelf is not completely their fault however, it should be monitered more closely. Waiting 35 more minutes to repeat an order that originally only took 8 minutes is ridiculous!!! I won't give this location another try unless they fix all these issues!! I tried!

Update: called and spoke with "Tonie" a "manger" who wanted to argue the length of time my daughter waited all the while I was on the phone. Once we looked in the bag there was no whole Frontera which we ordered, there was no cream cheese which we ordered 4 different ones. Requested extra mayo on the turkey blt as pictured I must be blind! And this must be the only panera where BLT doesnt include the bacon.There was mac and cheese which we didn't order!
