The staff has been so horrible lately. I had a rude interaction with the "operations manager" I called her stating she forgot an item that I even took photos of and she put me on hold several times and hung up but rudely accused me of hanging up after I called back several times and she did not answer. She asked me for an order number which I provided and she even read back to me but then hung up on me when I called back she said you were not in the drive-thru you were inside which was incorrect but I do not see how that matters. I kept telling her I went thru the drive-thru and check the camera she asked me to send her a picture of my receipt which I did and after giving that to her that said drive-thru with date time and order she still accused me of lying. Finally, she said I gave her the wrong order number which was incorrect because she even read it back to me twice to confirm. She then proceeded to say she checked the camera and I was given my item I asked to come inside to show her the bag or photo I took and she said she was busy to come at 3 pm given this was at 1030 am which would not have done any good because she was going to accuse me and say I threw the box away. It is not about the item but the customer service. Chick fila known for its excellent service but this type of behavior coming from an operations manager (she stated she was after I asked for one) is disgusting, I was accused and disrespected I will never be coming to this location again. I have contacted corporate to notify them of this behavior and this is not the first time I have had a terrible experience from the Reston location. The Tysons location is amazing I live closer to Reston but drive all the way to Tysons just for their amazing customer service they all are very nice. Reston should take notes from them, especially from their manager Monica...
Read moreWe had asked for two separate orders at the drive-thru, and the young lady over the intercom seemed somewhat confused, we had to keep repeating our order, which is no big deal at all - it was about 8:00PM last night 12/20/17, so the rush hour was somewhat dying down. When we pulled up to the window, the young gentlemen swiped the cards for the first and second order and gave us our receipts. So far so good. He gave us the first order, and that was it, we were still waiting until I inquired about the second order, and that we had not received our drinks. This is where the issue began. He kept insisting that he was pretty sure everything was in the bag, I mean really being persistent. He then asked us for the receipt, which he had JUST given us. Which of course we presented to him - mind you we still have not gotten the drinks. Another young lady with braces comes to the window to see what the issue was, and he tells her there's apparently a second order. She then asks us for the bag in an investigative manner. Which we of course obliged.
I live in the area, and am well accustomed to this franchise, I would expect this fashion of service from McDonalds, Burger King, you name it, but NEVER from Chik Fil A. My brother and I were astounded that we had received that kind of service. I understand kids are young and they have little patience sometimes, but that does not excuse that kind of behavior. We still had to ask for the drinks after finally receiving the second order. They need to be taught proper etiquette, there is certainly a way of ASKING rather than accusing and being persistent to your customers. They did not ask if we were sure or maybe we missed it somehow, no. They kept insisting all orders were in the bag, and that is the issue that I had with this...
Read moreI’ve always been a fan of Chick-fil-A, but unfortunately, my recent experience left me extremely disappointed and concerned. I stopped by this location in the afternoon to grab my usual meal after work: nuggets, fries, and a lemonade. I also picked up a chicken sandwich for my brother. The staff was friendly, as always, and I didn’t have any issues during my visit.
However, things took a turn when I got home to eat. The fries were decent, but the lemonade tasted a little off, though I couldn’t pinpoint exactly why. When I got to the nuggets, I immediately noticed they were unusually large. I thought it was odd, but I ate the first two without much issue. But when I bit into the next nugget, it had an odd taste—almost like it had been left out or improperly stored, giving it a strange, freezer-burned flavor. Still, I brushed it off and continued eating.
Later that night, everything went downhill. I woke up with severe stomach pain and an overwhelming urge to vomit. I ended up vomiting eight times before heading to the ER. Once there, I continued to throw up, and the color of my vomit was green, which, as I learned, is a clear sign of food poisoning. After a long and uncomfortable hospital visit, I was sent home, still shaken by the experience.
What’s also frustrating is that I used a $15 Chick-fil-A gift card for my meal, and it ultimately went to waste.
I’m not sure what went wrong at this location, but I wanted to share this to warn others. Food safety is paramount, and unfortunately, I didn’t get a safe meal this time. Be cautious when eating at this location, and take care of what you eat—this experience was not only unpleasant but also...
