Terrible service - Great food
If this were a review for potbelly as a chain then it would be 5 stars. The quality can hardly be matched anywhere. Although they have very good quality of food, not all locations are the same. There are two locations in Reston. This location is sub-par compared to the other location in the town center. I had placed an online order today at 11:38. I was told pick up time would be 12:05. I arrived at 12:10. Was greeted professionally and given my Milk Shake. then after 5 min of waiting the associate said "Yours is next sir". withing the span of the next 20min; 18 people were served, 4 of them were online orders. After 25 min of waiting the manager gave me food and said "they were just starring at the sandwich, idk what happened". As most managers can tell when a customer is upset, he told me "dont worry about the milkshake we will give that to you for free." One problem with this, I had been given a coupon for the milkshake due to my loyalty as a customer.

He said you need to click on rewards to show you get a cookie Or something like that? I said it told me I get a cookie, and it did NOT TELL ME ANYTHING ELSE TO DO. So why does a cashier bark these orders to a first time user on the Site.? I did not have the App downloaded. There were no further instructions. So why complicate and make customer feel they didn’t do something? Also, he didn’t say thank you for your order please pick a cookie, how do I know what to do next w/out help? I requested a sandwich with "little hot pepper" as usual. I got a sandwich swimming in oil (from the hot pepper) as the manager noticed, I used three napkins just to remove, the kind manager was going to replace it, but this employee lady said (in a way like it's my fault) it's oily because I ordered hot pepper! We ended up arguing about it.
