Where do I even begin. My mom and I came here for lunch. I went up to order a chicken quesadilla very politely. Within 0.2 seconds I was being rushed to go pay. The employees reiterating “go pay now go pay now” Like ???? But I remained very nice and polite. I then attempted to scan my points, then to whom I’m assuming was the manager said I couldn’t…um okay? Still I was very nice and just said “oh alright” no questions asked. When they asked if it was just the quesadilla I said I wanted a large and small drink as well. The cashier was so frantic that she rang up a large chip and small drink. I didn’t notice this mistake until after I had stepped away. Still chose not to say anything, as it got very busy after I had ordered. My intention was to wait until the rush died down to go give the bag of chips back and let them know their mistake.
I told my mom what had happened and how rushed I had been. She went up to the counter to ask for the large drink that we never got. The manager then came at her IMMEDIATELY with hostility. “She didn’t order a large drink she ordered a large chip I heard her” he said to my mom. My mom then said “excuse me, I’m the customer no need to be rude.” The manager then followed up with “maybe don’t have your daughter order next time.” My mom decided not to engage further and walked away. She then walked back to grab napkins, to which the manager asked us to leave. We hadn’t done anything wrong and I was just trying to eat the food that WE paid for so we refused. This prompted him to call the police. When the police came they informed us that he accused my mom of throwing things which was a blatant lie. Thank God there were cameras in there to prove him wrong. The cops then informed us we were required to leave because it was a “private business” and “thankfully they weren’t going to ban us” Which is pretty pointless because we are never...
Read moreWent there this evening, I Ordered my husband’s chicken quesadilla first and requested to add black beans to the quesadilla and was told by the rude unprofessional manager “we can’t do that”. I then asked why and he stated “we just don’t”. The other staff begin to ask what sides, and I told them -they pulled out the kids portion and I had to reiterate, “adult size”. I begin to order my burrito, I ordered extra rice, extra sofrito, queso, corn, tomato, hot sauce, double cheese, sour cream and guac. Mind you I almost never get a burrito. As one of the staff members began to wrap the burrito they had trouble. Then call over the manager, he slaps it together. I asked could he wrap it a little better he says, I’m putting another piece of aluminum foil, I said, no I’m talking about the burrito as food was falling out. He says, “ma’am you have to much stuff I can’t wrap it properly” I gladly told him to throw it away. He looks at his staff and tells them, “ did you see that’s why never give a customer that much food.” My husband decides to go in and get things straight. Ends up with the same problem and ends up wrapping it himself and the manager told him he is the only person on the clock who knows how to wrap the burritos and but he couldn’t do it “go figure”. The manager at the location is incompetent and treats his staff horribly. As long as he is the manager that chipotle will have major problems. I have been coming to this location for 15 years. I won’t ever return again. I am reporting them to the BBB AND 7 on your side news. What happened today was the most unprofessional situation I’ve ive ever seen and I will spread the word along. Read moreWe've been regulars of Chipotle for years now. We also get the same thing nearly every time we visit. That includes the quedadilla meal we get for my son. For the sides, we've known that you're only allowed to get 2 with the quedadilla meal. The tray has 3 compartments for sides. Just about every time we ask for rice and mild salsa, and sometimes we ask for extra rice in the 3rd compartment.
We visited this location as we were out of town and in free Fairfax/Reston area. Tonight, at this location, they told us that we couldn't get extra rice as it would be a 3rd side. We'd have to pay extra. This has never been the case in YEARS. I've had to stop the servers on multiple occasions at Chipotle from putting WAY too much rice on my bowls... But I'm supposed to understand that I have to pay for a small spoonful of rice on a kids meal?! I've even asked for a side of rice in a small cup at no extra charge.
We asked for a manager, who immediately started repeating what his workers told him (in Spanish which I didn't necessarily appreciate) before even listening to what I had to say OR asking how he might assist us. THEN he started talking over me which caused me to raise my volume even though I was trying to keep it at a normal level.
In the interest of the other customers waiting, and with being fed up with the completely unhelpful "manager", I just told him to close up our meals (we were ordering to eat in, but changed our minds out of frustration) and ring us up.
Nice enough looking location, but we won't be back to it this weekend...
