I have never been more displeased with a hibachi restaurant. From the call in order with the angry cashier I should have ran in the opposite direction. “Hibachi can you hold, you want three? What else?” Is not a kind way to treat a paying customer. My granddaughter and I walk in to the establishment with food remnants and pieces of trash spewed along the floor. Not only is the service poor but the prices are lies. We expected $8 each meal but we left paying $12! We collect our sad food and eat at home. The salad they scrape together was the worst salad I’ve had and the sauce for my meal was sour. This entire meal was unappetizing along with the spaghetti noodles they use. Please do not eat here. It’s absolutely disgusting. My granddaughter cried for twenty minutes after consuming this slop because she was so excited to eat it. Please get your act together ichiban, we will NOT return.

Decided to stop in here , had a taste for hibachi. Checked the reviews online and majority of them were all positive. So we said hey let's try it. Entering the guys were very friendly and professional. We ordered shrimp and scallops with fried rice, noodles, and vegetables. Plus a side salad came with it. Reasonable priced and it also cake with the yum yum sauce and extra terrayaki sauce. At first bite it was delicious. We absolutely enjoyed every bit of it. We now have a new hibachi spot.

Food is excellent. There is sometimes a bit of a wait while it's being cooked. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere/decor is nothing special. If you want atmosphere and a show, go to a full blown restaurant. At Hibachi Ichiban, you can get the same food for half the price. UPDATE: Quality has definitely gone down. Got the steak and shrimp. Shrimp wasn't bad, but the steak was not seasoned. Also, don't give you as many vegetables as they used to. Overall, it was just ok.

So the food is amazing. Good portions, delicious in every way. The front desk staff is very courteous and quick in their work. But the way the kitchen handles orders is absolutely ridiculous.

If you go in order a meal and there are other orders either in front of you or behind you the kitchen will cook the different parts of your meal wanted a time in bulk. This means that they will use the whole grill up to cook the rice and then put it in 20 trays. Then they will use the whole grill up to cook the noodles and distribute it. Then they will cook all of the vegetables. And lastly someone will cook the meat and put it on top. That means if you get there and put in your order and you're at the start of this bulk delivery you're waiting 35 minutes to get your food. Now if you walk in at the end of this experiment you're waiting 10 minutes for your food.

I don't think I've ever waited less than 20 minutes and this last time was a 35 minute wait to get dinner at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night.

I highly recommend you call ahead for your dinner at least 30 minutes. I also recommend to the owner that you revise the way that you cook your meals and maybe do them in smaller batches or even too order- 10 people waiting in the lobby for you to cook 10 meals seems the worst way to do it instead of just cooking them as they come in and getting everybody in and out In a time it takes you to cook one meal which is probably around 7 minutes.

Baby I'm missing something here and they had just cleaned the grill or they were backed up or whatever the problem was but it's happened multiple times and I definitely think that there's...

Been going here for about 20 years I guess. Used to be awesome, but last couple of times things have not been so great. Last time, I let it go thinking the had a bad day. But yesterday was another failure. Called in two orders of Steak and chicken - both without mushrooms and onions. They said it would be 25 minutes (they always say that, but it takes closer to 40-45). I got there about 30 minutes later and as expected not ready yet, so I paid and sat down. I observed the two people who were taking orders and assembling them. They definitely did not have any sense of making things right. They are walking through the motions but not checking things. Also when they are taking phone orders, they hurriedly try to get the order and off the phone, almost as like it is a race. I did not check my order there, my fault, but by now it was 45 minutes after I placed it and needed to get home. When I got home, I was not happy that we had big chunks of mushrooms in the food and no steak! I checked my recipe and saw that I was charged for the steak & chicken as I requested. One other thing I noticed - tips are not tips. While I was there, the cashier ran out of ones in the register, so he removed about 30 of the from the tip jar to use for change. No reconciliation between the two budgets was made, meaning that tips just go into the general profits. Definitely attention to detail...

Went in and they were crazy busy with door dash orders. Tables inside were unclean and kind of just scattered, later to be filled with people who were coming in to dine themselves. We were told it would be at least 30 minutes to get our food, no worries. Working in the industry, we get it. Spent over $50 for 3 people to dine. Received a salad with our meal that consisted of only iceberg lettuce and dressing. The drink machine was broken so they only had bottled beverages. When the food did finally come 45 minutes later it was luke warm and totally not worth the wait. The sauce they put on the chicken wasn’t even on the menu and it made the chicken both sour and sickeningly sweet. The only upside is we all ordered the chicken & steak combo and the steak was absolutely delicious, well what didn’t get covered in this sauce. It was supposed to come with fried rice and it came on white rice and half noodles that tasted like Chinese lomein. All in all I think they’re trying to do numbers they’re not prepared to handle and as a result their quality of food is taking a huge hit. There was also no dining room to really eat it. It has more of a...
