Never going here again. Last time was tonight. Only went three or four times, but each time there was an issue. From mopping the dining room before closing with so much chlorine on the mop that it gives you an immediate headache. Also, mentioning it to the manager on duty, just to have them tell you it’s near closing and it needs to get done(no apology). All while you’re trying to eat your meal with your two kids and wife. To messing up the order and being rude acting like it was our fault they misunderstood and not apologizing. To tonight feeling that their customer service is better if you look a certain way. Our pizza took a very long time. When they brought out our salad they just gave us the plate with no dressing no cutlery. When they brought out our pizza they brought out paper plates. All while watching the table across from us being brought everything. To cutlery, to ceramic plates, and even asked if they needed anything else. So ok all good. Don’t want my kids thinking we’re victims. Lastly when I went to get a box the lady at the counter was on the store phone just carrying on a full conversation laughing away. When I got the box I clearly said thank you just to have her immediately turn around and carry on with her conversation. I’m Hispanic, the staff is Hispanic, they should be ashamed to act and treat someone different. If I could give this place 0 stars then that’s the rating they deserve. The owner needs reevaluate his staff, his managers, and...
Read moreI'm done with this place. The pizza is good but the service and the attitude of the people who work there is terrible. The owner is sarcastic on the phone and his employees act like they hate their jobs. You walk in there and there are no smiling faces, no cheerful greetings, just a bunch of unhappy people with no manners and no ability to say "please" or "thank you."
I came in the other night to pick up a phone order and the guy behind the counter mumbled something, took my money, and then turned to his boss and started talking to him. He didn't even check to see if my pizza was ready. I stood there waiting-- probably too patiently-- for about 5 minutes, until finally another employee asked me if I had been helped. I told her I had paid for my pizza and was just waiting for it to come out and she asked my name. Then she looked and there it was. It had been sitting there the whole time! The guy at the counter hadn't even LOOKED. Once he got my money I was forgotten. I said something to him on the way out but he was so busy talking to his boss he didn't even hear me. Lousy customer service. Never...
Read moreThe pizza, the people, and the place are perfect! Some of these other reviews are such downers and totally not the Ciro's we go to almost every Wednesday night. I go with my mom, my nieces, and my nieces' friends and we love it--that's 3 generations of ardent Ciro's fans. The pizza crust is thin, but not too thin, slightly crisp on the outside, warm and soft with small pockets of doughy air on the inside. The cheese is outstanding--elastic and rich--it complements the sweet, herby tomato sauce as it mops it up in each bite (the cheese that stays on the pizza and those delectable pieces that slide off and I steal from my niece's plate). Plus, the joint is so cute with its retro booths; it reminds me of the place we always hit at the beach when I was a kid. Plus, it's super-affordable. Plus, it's super fast: we always receive our pizza no more than 7 minutes after ordering--piping hot! Plus, the people are so nice--they brought tiramisu over to our booth with a smile so big as if it were a birthday cake. It just about...
