Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Virginia

I’ve spent a lot of money at this location and after my experience tonight, I will never return. I ordered a total of three ice cream cups, two of which were identical. A new employee made my duplicate orders with the wrong flavor which I didn’t know until during my drive back home as I was eating the ice cream. So I came back to the store and the same girl who rang me up yelled across the store, asking if she could help me with something. I told her two of my orders were supposed to be made with cheesecake flavor and one was cake batter. She then asks the new employee if she remembers the order she made. I’m thinking to myself, what an amateur! You’re asking someone who didn’t even know she mixed up the ice cream flavors whether she remembers she messed up?! From there it went downhill! I’ve had to turn around because you’re not adequately training your staff and now all of my ice cream is melted! You need to make my order over and make it right…especially for the price of $18.00. The amateur manager was not happy about it, slamming things around. She obviously doesn’t know about how to help run a business because she just lost a repeat customer by getting an attitude after a customer requested that the order be made correctly! The amateur manager never apologized for the mistake but the trainee did....

3rd time I had issues with this place employees seem not to pay attention while taking orders over the phone. First time I order a cake with an image and the image was real tiny and I still got charge the same price and no one was no help not even a sorry 2nd time cake wasn’t what I order I had no choice to take it since I really needed a cake I had guest coming to my house 3rd time was this month I order a large rectangular size cake and I got a small round cake and was still charged the same amount I wasn’t there to pick it up it was my husband if I would of had gone myself I would of left them with that cake no one said sorry or nothing I was given the run around one employee called all the other employees just to ask who took my order she talked to the owner and the owner said nothing again I had no choice because my sons birthday was that same day I needed a cake but it was not enough to give a piece to each guess at the party I had to spend more money to get another one. I’m never never ordering cakes from this place AGAIN the owner doesn’t care about making things right or even apologizing. Unprofessional people just be careful when ordering cakes at this cold...

There were 3 employee's working. None of them wearing gloves while serving ice cream. When I asked the young woman if she could put gloves on, she replied "Oh we wash our hands". I proceeded to watch an employee take his hat off and scratch his head and then go and serve a customer. The young woman who served me, rang me up on the cash register and then went back to serving ice cream to other customers. No washing of hands. We have gone to other locations and have never seen anything like this before. Very disappointed from the time we walked in to leaving. My husband asked to have some whipped cream on his ice cream and he literally got a small amount the size of a cheese puff. Not sure what is going on at...
