I've always found this Dominos location to be inconsistent with the quality of their pizza, but the last time I ordered from here I had the absolute worst experience. I was having guests over and I ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese. I asked for it to be delivered at a certain time and the representative on the phone kept warning me that because it's a Friday night and its going to get busy that there's a chance it won't be delivered on time. What customer wants to hear that when they're placing the order in advance?? That was the first red flag, but I let it slide. To my surprise, the pizza was delivered early! It was very surprising considering that with previous orders through this location I've had to call multiple times to see where my delivery order was because they'd deliver the pizza so late (keep in mind I live almost walking distance from the store). Anyway, the driver seemed like he was high or something because his behavior was very odd - he started to walk away without even handing me my pizza after I handed him the tip. He also remained outside my house a little too long after going back to his car... When I opened the pizza with my guests a few minutes later, we were all shocked at the amount of air bubbles in the pizza. It was extremely odd. We've all had Dominos pizza about a million times before and we've never seen air bubbles like that - it's always greasy and cheesy with only a fluffy crust. When we started to take a slice out of the box, all the pizza was stuck together, hard, and stale! It was like the pizza had been sitting out in the open - it wasn't even hot. We had to tear it apart and everyone ended up with sloppy uneven slices. It was not cut properly. Once we started eating, all my guests commented on how dry the pizza was and we were all dunking it in ranch hoping it would become more edible that way. Despite it being incredibly embarrassing for me because of how terrible and inedible the pizza was in front of guests, what really bothered me the most was the lack of customer service / care from staff. I contacted them through the email listed in most of the responses to reviews here and someone reached out to me saying to give them my number and that we would be in touch - they never got back to me despite me even emailing a second time. It's there loss because I was going to deal with the matter privately instead of writing a review. Plus, look at their other reviews - they clearly don't care to improve. Never ordering from here again. There are better places such as Pizza...
Read moreIf we could give no stars we would. My wife and I ordered a medium two topping pepperoni and onion pan pizza to be delivered late Friday to our hotel near dulles airport. This was around 1am when they close at 2am. Around 1:50am the delivery driver arrived. We got to our room and opened the pizza and were disappointed to find out the wrong pizza was given to us, it was a large pepperoni on half and bacon/sausage on the other half. Not at all what we ordered. However, at 2:09am someone from the store called us and said their name was michael and that he was refunding our order and noting our account for a credit with a free pizza since their ovens were off and they couldn't remake our pizza. We're accepted his apology and effort to correct the issue. We then attempted to place an order on sunday around 10pm to recieve the pizza that "michael" said there would be a credit for on our account. However, a self stated "active manager" said he wouldn't place the order without charging us. We told him that "Michael" said we should be receiving a replacement pizza, but the "active manager" said he couldn't do that because he didn't see those notes. When we asked him why we couldn't get what was promised, he stated there was no way "Michael" would have said that because that's the general manager and he didn't close Friday night, as if my wife and I just made up this random name and time they called; which we have proof of because call logs on smartphones are time stamped. He then preceded to tell me i could wait 20 minutes while he ask/calls every employee to see if they would admit to doing this. I said we don't want to wait especially considering the odds of an employee admitting to giving a fake name weren't high. He then placed me on hold while i was still talking asking for his name. I hung up and called back and the same voice answered stating "This is nico and i'm still not done calling my employees" and immediately placed me on hold again when i was trying to talk to him. This is poor customer service, especially to act as if a customer is just going to randomly make up a name, date, and time that someone told them something. Stay away, no one should be accused of lying about something they can easily provide proof of a...
Read moreOrdered an hour prior to time I needed pizza for a youth football team, which orders EVERY Thursday/Friday night to end practice. Pizza showed up 30 minutes after they told me it would, and when I called to check in on pizza delivery time, the driver was rude and didn't give a crap about when it got to me. After him handing phone off to some random girl who began with attitude she hung up on me after claiming she was the manager. Called back got hung up on again by another guy claiming he was now the manager. Called back again got hung up on by a guy named Travis, who now was the manager (who took my order and tried changing his story so he didn't get in trouble) he hung up on me. Called back again got someone who didn't even answer saying Domino's, just said Hello? and said driver is looking at the pizzas do you still want them? Yes, exactly what I've been saying! Called corporate and was told this is a franchise, so now I'm waiting for the franchisee to call me back. Have never had such horrible service! I was okay with it being late had young kids who have no customer service training or experience be rude to someone who orders for a large group on a regular basis. Also spoke to the commissioner of our football organization who said he refuses to deal personally or even recommend dealing with this Domino's because they are rude and arrogant. I understand you may be busy, however I'm sure Friday's are busy so it should be pre-planned to have more staff or drivers. WILL NEVER ORDER...
