Had a solid night at El Bebe McLean with my cousins, and this spot delivered. Pulled up early, grabbed a seat at the bar, and was greeted by Alex, who made sure everything was on point from start to finish. Started with a Maple Old Fashioned, smooth and well-balanced, alongside their Mexican Street Corn Dip, which had just the right kick. Once everyone arrived, we went all in— Mango Habanero Wings (sweet, spicy, and addictive), a Carnitas Burrito packed with flavor, a sizzling Chicken & Steak Fajita platter, and their Chicken Mole, which was rich, deep, and legit comforting. The drinks were on point, the food was flavorful, and the service was excellent. This place is definitely worth a visit for tacos, tequila, and a solid night out. Can’t wait to come back!

This is the first time I have been to the place, interior is nicely decorated and airy and bright. We enjoyed the food very much, tasty, fresh and generous portion. The server is very attentive and came to check on us three four times. One small thing:I asked to swap the shrimp in the shrimp salad ($17) to carne asada, only until much later I saw on the bill that they charged me $34, which is the price of two without telling me in advance. I thought swapping protein was rather normal and I wouldn’t mind owing extra but double charge seems a bit steep. Follow up: when we went the second time and mentioned this , the manager was very friendly and apologized for the double charge and said it’s a mistake and refunded us right away, thank you!

I recently visited el Bebe hoping for a delicious Mexican dining experience, but I left pretty disappointed. First off, the portion sizes were small, not exactly what you’d expect for the price, which was pretty average but didn’t feel like a good value. The taste? Mediocre at best. The flavors were okay, but nothing stood out. The real kicker, though, was that they actually charged extra for spicy sauce. At a Mexican restaurant, this feels not only unnecessary but almost offensive. Isn’t spicy sauce a staple of the experience? The service was fine—pleasant enough, but nothing to write home about. Overall, it was just a lackluster visit. I wouldn’t rush back here.

Do not waste your time or money here-----

I have been to almost every location/restaurant this group owns and runs including Salt, Open Road, and Trio. For some reason their latest Boro locations for Circa and El Bebe are their worst. Had high hopes for El Bebe in Tysons considering I had a pretty good experience at their DC location.

On a Sat night, this place should be hopping. Not only was it not and pretty dead, the service was subpar and borderline confrontational and passive aggressive. It was amateur hour here, the drinks were watered down and not made correctly. The $45 Carne Asada was bland and COLD.. Clearly our bartender/server was more concerned with cleaning up and hugging his coworkers goodbye and let our food just sit there too long. Chimichurri was barely noticeable and the warm tortillas that were supposed to be served with it were nowhere to be found. Felt cheated after paying my bill. Circa in the Boro did not fare much better with service and product, I will not be returning. What is really puzzling is I have been going to Trio and Open Road in Merrifield for many years, and its been very consistent and very good. I don't know what happened with the Boro but they dropped the ball hard.

If You want a better experience and value for your money, Patsys, Eddie V's, or even Earls in the Tysons area are far better options that you wont mind opening up...

I walked into the restaurant and had to wait at least 5 minutes before someone actually spoke to me only to tell me they will be right with me. The man at the front asked if I had reservations and I told him I didn’t so he told me the wait would be 25-35 minutes and he took down my phone number. After 35 minutes, they still didn’t have an available table. I did not want to wait any longer, so I decided to just do take out because at this point I am really hungry. I ordered the crispy shrimp tacos and my friends got the birria tacos. I love tacos, and the tacos here looked really good but they didn’t taste amazing. The shrimp was nice and crispy and on the sweet side but very bland, the rice was okay and the beans were really watery and did not have too much flavor. My experience from the food to the service is a 2.5/5. I asked my friend about her food and she said she would rate hers a 3/5. She said her birria taco was okay, the soup part had some flavor and was decent and the tacos were okay. Honestly for the same price, my friend and I prefer the restaurant Fish Taco, which is around the same area because their food is so flavorful and service is good too (I go there at least 1-2 times a week) and the food...

The delivery service that El Bebe Boro offers on their website is called "ChowNow". This was the first time I encountered this company/ service and it was terrible. It creeped to 45 min past when I was supposed to receive my order. I tried multiple different routes to reach someone at ChowNow to understand what was happening and never got a single non-automated response. I eventually called the restaurant where a man was very kind and understanding. That person is the reason this isn't a 1 star instead of a 2 star. He called me back a few minutes later saying my order had finally been picked up, apparently by a third party, uber. Haven't even had the food yet. It'll be an hour+ after the "estimated time" I would receive the food I ordered. I will not order from this restaurant again and if I ever see ChowNow again when ordering delivery, I will pick a different restaurant. Edit: I received a response from ChowNow 2 hours after my order was placed offering to help. Take...
