The hardworking employees here are ultimately the saving grace of this absolute mediocrity of an establishment.

One of the worst highlights of this store is from the current manager, Stacey, who will spread rumors and untruthful crap behind employee's backs. She is also quite stingy in serving sizes and generally contributes to the declining atmosphere of the store. If you walk in with happy employees, good chance Stacey isn't there to scrutinize their every single move, giving them the freedom to treat you right.

While working under Stacey's management, there was no passion in serving the customers and the production of the beverages. Smoothies were blended hastily, resulting in an icy and chunky joke of an 8$ drink. Similarly, toppings frequently found themselves sparsely distributed into customers drinks AND poki bowls. Stacey would get very frustrated should we deviate even from the slightest amount more than the portion that she wanted us to give to customers.

Food from poki DC are often fried in week old seed oils and oftentimes side dishes are sourced from mass-produced frozen food. The boba is really sweet and uses high fructose corn syrup in nearly all aspects of the drink — Consider it...

I used to go here all the time but stopped when I got a new job - I stopped by this past weekend and oh boy, I didn't know a drink could taste so bad. It was a strawberry shortcake smoothie type drink with oreo crumbles on it, but it was horrible tasting. The ice wasn't even blended enough, it was so watered down and disgusting. It was like water, ice, and strawberry syrup poorly blended together and then a tiny spash of milk thrown in. We took a couple sips but ended up throwing it away, it wss so gross.All of the staff was teenagers, they really need an adult or two on staff for QC because I'm almost certain they had no idea how to make the drink and just improvised. We also got a matcha milk tea, there was hardly any milk in it. Matcha milk tea is usually a light green color, this was a dark green cause it was mostly just water and matcha and maybe a tiny splash of milk. Horrible, just horrible. Ordered a Thai tea with boba at the store. Asked for no ice and made sure he heard me because it was not on the screen. Waited 20 minutes for my drink while watching others in front of me get their drink. My drink was sitting on the counter full of ice. I never received a receipt so I didn’t have a number. Horrible service. There was no line and I still had to wait 20 minutes for a simple drink. Avoid this place for food and drinks. They have no idea what they are doing.
