What a pleasure to dine at SmashBurger on a bustling Friday evening. I ordered a Double Smoked Bacon Brisket Burger with Crispy Brussels Sprouts as my side, while my husband chose the Double Classic Smash Burger paired with Smash Tots. Both burgers were spectacular— perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts, in particular, stole the show; they were so delectable that I'd return just for that dish. Surprisingly, the Smash Tots left us disappointed, lacking not only in flavor but also in portion size. In comparison to the generously portioned fries and Brussels sprouts, the Smash Tots looked rather sad in the basket next to the burger. I recommend that SmashBurger consider increasing the portion size and infusing more rosemary and garlic for a tastier experience.
The small sports bar added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere, especially for my sports enthusiast husband. Not only did they offer various beer and cocktail options for those looking to unwind, but in addition to sodas they also had a thoughtful selection of freshers, ensuring a satisfying experience for everyone.
Despite the peak dinner hour, they ran out of milk, preventing me from trying out their milkshakes. While disappointing, the courteous staff acknowledged the issue and recommended trying a milkshake on my next visit. A minor hiccup that I hope the management addresses promptly to maintain the high standard of the overall dining experience.
I wish for a SmashBurger in Fairfax, VA, so I could make more...
Read moreI know a lot of people say they don't write reviews but I'm truly one who doesn't write reviews but here goes:
Food is ok. A tad on the greasy side. The last few times I went, I felt the service was lacking. One time I came in and put in a to go and it took almost 45 min. I saw people coming in after me, ordering and getting their food before me. I had to ask if I missed them call my name, It turned out my food was sitting under the heating lamp section for a good 15 min.
Another time I came in, and ordered 3 milkshakes it took 25 min, again had to ask if it was ready and there they were just sitting there. Melting. The 2 managers that seemed to be on duty were a heavier set Caucasian woman and a dark haired Caucasian man gentleman who I've seen prepping the fries etc.
To be clear, both times I came in, it wasn't too busy, so I'm not sure why they were calling my name but they would call others.
It's a shame because the first time I came in, it was great service. I dined in, the staff brought out my food it was a good experience.
I haven't been back since the milkshake incident, I felt like the managers on duty didn't care.
I'm sure I'll come back again, hopefully the service...

I had one of the best dining experiences at Smash Burgers last night! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the team made it feel like a second home.
Nana, the cook, was working magic on the grill—every burger coming out looked (and smelled) incredible. You could tell she puts real care into every order. My burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor.
Nora, the general manager, runs this place like a well-oiled machine while making sure every guest feels valued. She greeted me with a big smile and even checked in later to see how my meal was. It’s rare to see that level of genuine hospitality!
Kimberly, the shift leader, was handling the register and still managing to crack jokes with customers. She kept the line moving fast and made the experience fun with her energy and personality.
On top of all that, the food was top-tier, and I even got an extra side of fries, thanks to Nana. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, this place never disappoints. Smash Burgers has earned a lifelong customer—can’t...
