I was thoroughly disappointed with this place. My Dad, who had been diagnosed with dementia, needed to be moved into an assistive living home. I had to call ahead to inquire about furniture that could be purchased and delivered in time for his move in three days. They assured me they had what we needed.
Upon arriving with my Dad, I informed the salesperson that he had dementia and asked for patience while we looked. After an hour, my Dad settled on a lovely bedroom set that also included a matching living room set. I inquired about the delivery timeline, and they confirmed it would be delivered in three days.
However, as we were about to pay, the salesperson pulled up the schedule and revealed that the delivery would actually be in two weeks. I was shocked and asked what had happened to the three-day timeline. He explained that since he had agreed to the three-day delivery (which had occurred 20 minutes earlier), several people had signed up, and now it was two weeks.
We were frustrated and informed the salesperson that this was not feasible, and we would have to leave. As we were leaving, the salesperson claimed to have “rearranged things” and could now deliver in three days, but the delivery window would be between 8 am and 5 pm.
We processed the sale and went home. The night before the delivery, we received a notification that it would be delayed and not delivered until the following Monday (the delivery was scheduled for Thursday). Unable to reach them since they were closed, we called the next morning.
I explained that my Dad was moving in that day and demanded that the delivery be made that day. He could not stay at my place, and they would essentially be forcing him to live in an unfurnished room. I spent a good 45 minutes speaking with different supervisors before finally reaching someone who agreed to the delivery, but we would be the last ones on the docket.
That night, the delivery arrived, but it was evident that the delivery driver was unhappy. I noticed that his coffee table had dings and scuff marks all over it. When I called, I was informed that he had received the floor model, and since it was delivered, it was now ours.
I will never step foot in this place again and am deeply angry with the service we received. Stay away! This incident occurred in the last half of...
Read moreI purchased a set of coffee tables, along with a dinning table on August and this order took about two weeks to get to us. As soon as the tables arrived we noticed that the dinning table had a crack on one side and little tinny holes in it, right away we called the place to let them know about the issue and the guy asked us to take pictures of the damages. The very next day we went over to the store with the pictures and the manager told us that he was gonna put another order to get another table( same model). Two weeks later went by and nothing I called the place again and they said they were back order and that I should have it in two more weeks. Two weeks went by again nothing again. I keep getting bounce around from person to person and no solution. I finally get the owner on the phone and he said " I will give you a call tomorrow"and nothing. I'm going to take this table back and hope to get my money back. it's just very upsetting to come across people like that and not only that but we work hard for our money to be paying for a table that it's damage! There goes $440 worth of my work down the drain. I wish i would read the review before purchasing anything from this place. Please people save your money and go some where else. it's...
Read moreHORRIBLE Customer Service. My son was contacted by the store a couple of months ago to remind him that he has a store credit there. He called the store yesterday to inquire if I (his mother) could come in and use the credit with his permission to make a purchase for him as he now lives 8 hours away. He was told that we could handle the transaction that way and that he would need to call the store to complete the transaction over the phone. With that okay, I then began the 3 hour drive to the store. I arrived, picked something out for my son, only to be told that my son had to be present for the transaction. I would never have made the trip except that an untrained employee told my son that it would be no problem. In situations like this, there is no reason that a refund can't be made if they aren't willing to work with customers AND particularly in this case as we were given incorrect information resulting in a loss of no less than 6 hours of my time. Besides all that, it's a poor excuse for a furniture store. If my son didn't have a credit to use, I would most certainly send him elsewhere. Not sure when or if he'll ever get to use it. I clicked one star only because its the minimum required to post...
