Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

Falls Church restaurant has serious customer service issues. I was very excited to treat my guests with LEDO pizza. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it because the restaurant manager, who assisted me, was unfriendly and impatient. She raised her voice when I asked if they had a no-ham pizza for my friends. "Built your own pizza!" - she repeatedly responded in an aggressive manner. Her approach towards paying customer made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. When placing a $114 order at the LEDO location, I expected to be treated nicely and friendly following LEDO pizza's high standards, and Instead, I got the worst customer service in my life. According to your website, 'the concept is to provide high-quality food at a great value in a comfortable, family atmosphere," and it feels nothing like this in the Falls Church location. Other employees I spoke to, both the host and the cook, were friendly and welcoming. In this context, it's been even more shocking to see a hostile manager's approach toward your loyal...

Multiple experiences here and the food is pretty good, but the online ordering/pickup time estimation is WAY OFF. Most all restaurants these days have an automatic text message sent to notify you that your order is ready. It shouldn't be that hard to have this option in 2024 for a restaurant in a high income area like this.

I was told after placing order that it was 35 minutes. I walked in 25 minutes after placing the order, and my order was on the shelf, with only a hare of heat on it! After a 5 minute drive back to my hotel and opening the boxes, this food was made in less than 5 minutes and was at least a half hour stale and cooled off.

I'll still eat here, but will wait inside immediately after placing my order. And I did tip on my takeout order, but I got some real side eye from the cashier when I didn't tip on buying a rice Krispy treat. Tried twice to get a tip on it.. I already left one that wasn't even...

So I have been a customer of Ledo's off and on for at least 15 years (in this location). It has always been a welcoming establishment that supports the greater Falls Church area. They are heavily involved in community sports through sponsorship and support the local non-profits as well.

They also have great food! The pizza is not my favorite style of pizza (I prefer Napoleon) but it is great for what it is. Their wings are fantastic, and the apps are great. The thing I love about this place the most is the vibe though. It really is a neighborhood joint. The staff is awesome and are always super welcoming. I witnessed them through the whole pandemic and they really went above and beyond to make everyone feel as safe as possible while still trying to provide an outlet to normal world.
