McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

Walked in at McDonald’s at Graves Mill in Forest. They had a sign posted at the front stating registers are closed must use kiosk. I pulled up the kiosk to order a gallon of tea to go and there was no option. The manager turned around and asked had we been waited on (there were four of us waiting). A gentleman spoke up and said he had been waiting for his food 15 minutes and she replied rudely we are waiting on food to get ready. But he noticed the drive thru was being served quite fast. He felt we being in the store was just as important as those in the drive thru outside. Then I spoke up and said the kiosk did not allow me to order a gallon of tea. She then rudely stated I had to go to the drive thru. I said you are standing there and you can’t take my order? She said use the drive thru. There was a long line outside. The under staffed excuse is getting old and why does that call for such rudeness to me or any other customer? We come to you for service yet you have managers showing such rudeness how do you expect employees to learn to be courteous? They need to set the example. This is not the first time this store has shown little respect to those that come inside to order. We are important to you too. At least we should be. I hope that manager is spoken to. This was on 4/20/22...

Very dissatisfied with my experience tonight at the graves mill location...line was pretty long and I'm always understanding of short staff and busy hours. I was patient...I received my food, checks it as I always do and noticed the fries were basically cold and withered and medium half full. I politely say the fries weren't fresh and immediately the young black woman responds behind the cashier "Our fries always hot" and stood there. I said I would like fresh fries please ..I appreciate it. She literally stands and stares at me then She walks off and immediately comes back with the fries for me and my son. They appear hot to touch but seemed a bit crispy no problem...gets home majority of them are hard as a rock....this is alllll after driving across town from sitting in Wendy's line for 10 mins without cars even moving to come to this McDonald's and basically get poor service and food. Sandwich look like it was thrown together. I tossed it all in the trash except my son's nuggets. All I wanted was a good treat night for me and my son for his birthday weekend and gets attitude and poor quality food. Again I understand short staff and busy times but all the extra isn't necessary. Will not return and I always stop there for my son but...

This now makes 7 out of 10 times I’ve tried to go here before work, the sign and website says they open at 5 am, I show up about 5:47 and it’s people in there leaning over the counters and you can see them just standing around as you circle then building. This morning they had a cone blocking the drive through, and the doors were locked. Again, this is 7 out of 10 times in the last couple weeks. Why are people getting paid to stand around in there?? If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. It’s nothing fun about getting up a little earlier trying to stop by McDonald’s just to find out they open whenever they want to. It’s got to the point of where this is sickening!! Again, 7 out of 10 visitis, in a little over 2 weeks! But that’s ok now! Hardee’s is closer and easier, so your loss, that’s what you’ll get for letting people do as they please. Makes me sick to ride around your building while you’re supposed to be open just to find out you’re not and see 3-4 cars in the parking lot and the employees standing around with the doors locked and the mic off. Other guys at my company have said the same thing! I was quick to let them know that Hardee’s is open and better. I hope you’re proud , you just lost...
