I have noticed this spot at Stonebridge for a few years, but always found myself passing Nando's by for another one restaurant. After trying many of Stonebridge's food offerings, we decided to give Nando's a try. Upon entering, we noticed the music was a blend of Afro-beats and Latin grooves...which was very inviting. The host that greeted us had a look of I hate my life and I want to me any place but here..."welcome to Nando's." Fortunately, the visit went up from there. As we sate at the table, there was still this COVID vibe...meaning, the host pointed to the QR code for the menue, but did not explain that we would submit our order via the link as well. We are foodies, so we figured it out. The menu was filled with taste chicken dishes that could be prepared with varying levels of heat (spice). Checkout the photos below. After we ordered, an employee appeared with two glasses for our drinks. She placed them on our table and disappeared just as fast. Note, that we ordered the peach tea with ree refills but you have to get it yourself. Shortly thereafter, our meal arrived and the presentation amd taste exceeded our expectations. The chichken was well seasoned and had a wonderful char to enhance the taste. The Peri-Peri sauce was perfect for fries and chicken. In all, we were satisfied with the meal and we could overlook the COVID-like service in this new post COVID era that we find ourselves in because the price point is very affordable. At the Stonebridge location, it is important for Nando's to remember that there are other options within a very short walking distance if patrons are turned off by your service, or lack there of. The that end, keep that chicken juicy and that char just right! I recommend Nando's for a good meal at the right price for...
Read moreFirst, let me say I love Nando's. I used to eat lunch at this place almost everyday. The staff and management WERE very friendly and the food is generally cooked very well. The service as of lately has been iffy as there are quite a few new faces and some new managers. I was very displeased with the service received during my latest dinner run here. I placed an order for curbside pick up via the app and arrived 20 minutes prior to pick up. I called to let the staff know that I was there a little early for my order and the young lady proceeded to have an attitude that I was there early and that my food would be ready and brought to me at the time I requested. Ok no problem...20 minutes arrives and still no one has brought my food out. I attempted to call and continued to get a busy signal. 30 minutes goes by and no one has still brought my food out. So I go in and they were not busy and my food was clearly ready. When I complained they basically told me I called too early (mind you only 20 min before in which they technically should have been about ready to start preparing my food) and that basically they forgot I called to say I was at the store for curbside pick up! Rather than apologize I got an excuse and basically blamed that because I didn't come at the time I scheduled they "forgot". I then asked to speak to the manager who had the same excuse. As much as I have supported this business as of lately I have been very disappointed with the level of customer service. The vibes have definitely shifted here lately and...
Read moreThe service here was horrible, we were the first table sat of approximately four tables in the restaurant. My girlfriend order a half chicken with two sides, it came out and looked half cooked. No grill marks or char that’s typical of Nandos. They also forgot to put the sauce on the chicken, didn’t have utensils available etc. I ordered a wrap with garlic bread and fries, almost 20 min after my girlfriend got her food I still had received mine. I looked up and it was sitting waiting to be picked up by the waitress. At this point my girlfriends meal is done and we are about to leave, I ask the waitress about my food (now 30 min after half the food arrived) and she’s says “oh…I think we are waiting on the garlic bread or something”. I said no thank you, we are leaving. She mumbles something and walks away. She spoke to the cooks, walked around to other tables that were sat after us and got their food before us, then goes back to the kitchen. I was waiting to see if she would package the food since we were leaving. Eventually she walked over with the wrap and cold fries (no garlic bread). I told her no thank you and to send the food back, it had been sitting out for quite some time. She did not offer to have fresh food made, or refund us for the food we did not receive. I won’t be back to...
