Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Virginia

I like the Bundt Cakes, but after being served there today, I am not sure I want to return. The saleswoman was very, very rude. I came in for a box of their small Bundtinis, which they sell by the dozen. The woman told me, in a fairly hostile way, that I could only pick between one of two boxes only, and if I wanted to select the Bundtinis I wanted, it would be an additional $2.00. At $28.00 a box, adding $2.00 for someone making a choice seemed like they were on a nasty path - treating customers as if their patronage did not matter. Charging $30.00 a box before taxes just for making a choice? Really? I also got the feeling that these two boxes were merely leftovers and they wanted rid of them. I am tired of restaurants and other food service businesses charging bogus service charges and other costs, jumping on the bandwagon in treating customers poorly. I purchased a dozen bundtinis today from this location. To begin, I was handed a package taped up and already closed without showing me the contents on the inside. For now on I will be having them show me before they tape the box. When I get home and open the box I notice a whole bundtini is missing icing. I call the store informing them of the mess up and they state they can not be held liable for this as I did not find the mess up in the store. I am posting this review to remind others to please look at your orders before leaving the location. I am incredibly disappointed in what I received and how this was handled by this location specifically. I spend over 100 every Friday at this store and I had to wait 29 minutes because the manager was on the phone for 2 bundlets. The manager was rude and did not care that I had to wait while the entire store got their orders before me. I was left alone in the store and more people came in and even they got their bundlets first. Let me tell you that apparently it takes a village and 20 minutes to put some cellophane and ribbon on something. The clerk must have asked in the back six times if it was ready and it was always it’s coming. I will NEVER. Go there again. I pick up cakes every week to bring to Kilmarnock but from now on it will be either Frostings or Crumbl. No offer of a free bundlet or a coupon or anything.
