Not the best Qdoba I’ve been to. The service was lacking, slow and not very welcoming. There were two people ahead of me and we were made to wait due to one employee showing another how to prep and cook the fajita veggies (very understandable) one employee looking dazed and the other at the register. I ordered a steak burrito bowl and the employee serving me had a mouth full of food so she just chewed and pointed at food while I told her what I wanted in my bowl. I got to the register and I told her that I wanted a large drink. I was charged for the drink but the cup wasn’t given to me. Once I provided my form of payment the employee brushed by me to get to the soda fountain, leaving me to grab my own cup. The employee was filling their own cup with soda and I guess she needed to get hers before me. The counters by the tea urn were dirty and sticky with leaked tea and the supplies, utensils, lids, and other items were either out or almost out. The steak in the bowl was very dry and seemed very processed, no flavor. I asked for jalapeños, but was only provided four in my bowl. I usually like Qdoba, but this trip...
Read moreFood is ok but Qdoba's atmosphere is never as warm and welcoming as Chipotle. Staff was polite and accurate with the order. Not a bad experience but not a good experience either. I had a bad experience with customer service at the Midlothian location once but another staff member witnessed it and corrected the situation. The food that I ordered that day was a vegetarian quesadilla and it was huge and amazingly delicious. UPDATE: Visited the Laburnum location a few weeks ago and was waiting for my companion to arrive before I ordered. He phoned to say he would be 5 minutes late. I needed to use the rest room and noticed that it was locked. When I asked for the code I was informed that I would have to buy sonething first. I was waiting for my friend to arrive and I couldnt wait 5 minutes to use the rest room so I was forced to get in line to just purchase a drink to use the rest room mind you I really had to go. I feel that this type of thing is only done in this east Laburnum location and wouldnt happen in a location like Short Pump. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE that is not the fault of the...
Read moreThe food area was a mess. Employees are not sanitary at all. They would get off the register, glove up without washing hands not taking into consideration that they're contaminating the gloves by doing so. Besides, if your gloves are visually soiled, why grab my tortilla? All employees should change gloves , specifically, when you already have them on when customers enter. We don't know what yall did before we got there with those gloves on. Food quality has went way down as well. They don't even care when food particles from other items gets into the other warmers. For example, I don't want cheese strings in my quac, nor rice pieces in my beans when I'm riceless to began with. They need a sanitation class so they know proper food handling. Teach them to wash hands before regloving, teach them to be mindful to not adjust hats while serving people food, teach them to not have food covers face up in the opening because i don't want that on my tray. Alot of habits comes from within, therefore, Qudoba needs to invest in a food safety team and get this place to how it use to be cleanliness...
