We celebrated our anniversary here recently and had a wonderful evening. We tend not to make reservations, so when we showed up at 6:00PM on a Friday we expected a decent wait to be seated. Sure enough, as we walk in the waiting area and entry was full of people waiting to be seated. My wife and I looked at each other and both said, “Uhoh!” However, the hostess quickly checked her seating chart and found seating for two. I guess the others were waiting for larger party seating. However, my wife asked if we could dine at the bar and that turned out to be a great decision. I don’t remember the bartenders name but he was top notch! He was all by himself and making all the drinks for the other servers as well. He managed to take our orders within 5 minutes of sitting at the bar. This gentleman kept his cool while being extremely busy and having customers in the dining area complaining that their margarita wasn’t made with Patron. He actually acknowledged that he had not made that drink right and made the customer a new one with Patron, only to have it returned again claiming it wasn’t made with Patron. He calmly told the waitress to confirm the drink had been made with Patron and ask if there was another drink they may be interested in if that one wasn’t to their satisfaction.
As for the food, what would you expect from Olive Garden?? It was delicious! I had actually spent the whole day trying to decide if I wanted fettuccini Alfredo or steak. While looking at the menu I was pleasantly surprised to see the 6 oz. Sirloin came with a side of fettuccini Alfredo. Of course we enjoyed the signature bread sticks and house salad, then forced ourselves to make room for our main courses and even managed to share a dessert.
All around we just can’t say enough about the bartender who served us and couldn’t have asked for a better prepared meal. Please do not hesitate to visit...
Read moreI am wanting to make this post for Olive Garden Restaurant located in White Oak Shopping Center in Eastern Henrico Country Va. We have had nothing but good experiences there. But our experience at there on yesterday evening 06/01/19 went over the top/ Completely and totally over and beyond!!! We were waited on by our favorite waitress Amie Orlaf, in our opinion the best waitress that Olive Garden has.....my granddaughter and I mentioned to her that my granddaughter aspires to be a chef. Amie said that she would mention that to the chef and maybe he could come out to speak to her. Well, as you can see from the picture below, not only did the chefs come out and speak to her, they invited her to go into the kitchen where she rec'd a chef hat, apron, bag, and stress toy. She was totally blown away and I was I was beyond words impressed that the chefs Austin Essig and Micah Hinson, would take the time out to encourage her in this way. My granddaughter was just beside herself and so happy she fell asleep with her apron on!!!!! And this morning she made breakfast. It was fun, but the fact that bacon was $3.00 per slice and a scrambled egg was $5.00, we all managed to have a good breakfast and not end up in the poor house(ugh)……..Thank you Olive Garden for making this 10 year old's day. My appreciation knows no boundaries....we will be...
Read moreI agree with another review left. Horrible experience tonight and two weeks ago when we use the online reservation/check in. Only to find out when we arrived there we were told very rudely they do not accept the online reservation or participate even when I showed them a screenshot of my confirmation. Very rude and on caring. Since they made no effort to acknowledge the reservation or even apologize for the inconvenience we probably left. Tonight we were trying to give them a second chance we were there at 4:12 p.m. and hardly any cars in parking lot and many many open tables, only to be told it would be a 10 or 15 minute wait with hardly a smile or polite greeting. We walked into the bar area to give it a few minutes however bartender never looked up or acknowledged us. This is ridiculous and horrible service not even a busy time of the night or day. All three employees up front running the desk barely look up to acknowledge you very young and untrained. When we walked out from the bar area since not being acknowledged at least six to eight employees huddling around the front reception desk and why was no one being seated???? Horrible Olive Garden!! Run away fast !!! Where are the adults at this place?? Where is customer...
