Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Virginia

I would recommend trying RCCF.

The chicken was good. Not greasy, Not dry. Cane's sauce was good. The cole slaw was fresh, but something in the flavor was missing (?). Crinkle-cut fries, not over-salted, good too.

I like the simple menu, not 50K versions of "I'm lov'n it" or 15 flavors of Louisiana sauce and various chicken parts.

The music is too loud; at least it's good music. Not nearly as loud as the group of customers trying to be the loudest.

The price is comparable for what things are right now.

Appeared to be a fair number of employees, actually working.

Some places to eat outside, amen.

Seems to be a hot place for the kids. {Maybe because nothing but the same old burgers/pancakes is open past 8pm anymore (and now another Popeye's is coming, just down the street... surprise...)} Whoever did the site plans... you f'd up. Way too much drive through area and not enough parking. Seen ONE drive through customer the entire visit. Waste of space! {Maybe donate it to Chunk-of-Fillet's CF operation} There was no parking spaces open. Plenty of drive through area open though... Almost had to park on the far-side of Chipotle. That's too far to walk for a fast food basket. No sidewalks from Chipotle parking to Cane's... have to blaze through shrubs, and exposed drip irritation (another f'up). {or maybe it's the county zoning regs... neither one...

Parking and Drive thru was awful. Getting in and out of the place was difficult and I am afraid it's going to cause an accident.

Service was nothing out of the ordinary, however, my girlfriend and I both ordered meals and we get one tiny amount of sauce. We both ordered chicken and I went up to ask for sauce and they tried to charge 39cents. This nickle and diming over one sauce that I believe should have come with the other meal is ridiculous. Additionally, they flat out just didn't give my girlfriend a part of her meal (the Texas toast) that clearly was advertised on the board to order.

The atmosphere isn't great. The music is cranked too loud and makes it hard to just chill and eat your food.

Now for the food...

The food just wasn't good. I was excited to try this place and it was just disappointing. The food was extremely salty and gave my girlfriend and me stomach problems and was dehydrating.

It's a shame that this place didn't live up to all the hype. There is a Chik Fil A right next to this place so if they want to thrive they need to improve. This could be done by being generous with sauces and adding variety, fixing the amount of salt and seasonings that they use, making sure that their ingredients are of good quality, and creating a relaxed atmosphere to...

I arrived at this restaurant at around 2:18 p.m. on 10/13/2024. After I paid at the first window, I drove to the second window to get my food, which consisted of five chicken fingers and 2 chicken sandwiches. Afterward, I checked my food while still in line and noticed that there was no Cane's sauce for my chicken fingers. When I told the worker at window, at first she lied and said it was under my Texas toast which I did not order.

Then when I told her I didn't have any, she checked the screen again and said it was because I didn't order a combo and that I would need to pay. This is mystifying to me and reflects poor customer service. I don't understand why I would need to order a combo or pay for sauce when every other fast food restaurant (McDonald's, Burger King, Chik Fil A, Zaxby's etc) will offer sauce for free. I do hope in the future this 'policy' if it even exists is rectified so that at least a sauce or two will be offered.

Update: I filled out the customer service survey on hicanes.com. This is the pathetic response it gave me which didn't even acknowledge what happened. Very disappointed that this is how little they care...
