Sheesh Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

I loved the restaurant. I loved the food. HALAL RESTAURANT. I took 30 minutes or more to pick a restaurant to eat in that area. I wanted good food, little bit difference. What caught my attention in this restaurant was red beats hummus and Aleppo chicken sandwich, Saffron soft ice cream. I didn't expect this restaurant to be that big. There are many tables. Several electronic order stations which i used, because I took my time to fund the dish I want and wanted to see all the options. Food (when dine in) served in nicely painted metal plates. The food was outstanding 👌. It looked delicious , it tasted delicious. Red beat hummus was definitely something new for me. You have to lime read beats in order to like this hummus, because red beats taste is dominant. I really liked it.

I also tried Saffron soft serve. I've never tried Saffron before. So I was curious whether I would like it or no. So, I didn't like it. I didn't hate it. I finished the ice cream, but not ready for a other Saffron dose ))))). At least know now. But ice cream if remove the Saffron was very tasty

I think the food is made to order and boy is it good!! The chicken is so flavorful. Everything on this platter is soooo well seasoned, and the eggplant is out of this world!! For $7, I wish the eggplant side was a little bigger. Unfortunately, you can't order it as one of your sides, you have to buy it separately. The chick peas are tomato based and the spinach is sauteed and pairs well with the rice. The chicken is not as juicy as I would have hoped (I took my meal to go, maybe it wouldve been juicer if I dined in? )but its still extremely flavorful, especially when dipped in the white sauce. The green sauce is good too (smells vinegary) and its too spicy for my taste. You cant go wrong with this platter. They also have lamb chops now, as well as salmon. As much as I wanted to eat it all in one sitting, hahahaha, this meal is enough for two people. Im thinking the next time I will order the Eggplant platter, I'm obsessed...

Ok first things first. I have a big issue with not being able to call and speak to a live person at any restaurant I order from. I finally ordered for the first time via DoorDash and the food was average, but how can you have every kabob except lamb kabob? Anyway I got the beef kubideh thinking it would be the closest match and never have I tasted such weirdness. I loved the green chutney though and the rice and salad. The chickpeas were meh. I was able to enjoy the rest of my food. The meat I didn’t eat. I’m sorry but I’ve tried a few halal places and still no one can compare to Family Kabob House in Arlington. The food, the flavor, the service, and the price. It comes with everything for less than most of these places! It’s unreal. Big juicy lamb kabobs, tons of rice, flavorful chickpeas, delicious chutney, and fresh Naan. No I don’t work for them, I just want everyone to taste greatness, at least my favorite entree,...
