I have been wanting to check out Rasa for some time now. Today it finally happened. The decor and ambiance is very colorful, neat and very welcoming.. The food looked super fresh and delicious. All of us are either vegetarian or vegan and they had so many options. We definitely were not limited. The creations we could've come up with seemed endless. My mom, 10yr old and 7yr old all made their own bowls. My 7yr old is very particular and Emily was beyond accommodating letting my daughter try things before committing to put it in her bowl. Which led to her making the most perfect super delicious bowl that she loved. Thank you so much for that Emily. For vegan options, I was recommended Aloo you need is love bowl and it was AMAAZINGGG. i would definitely recommend and I would totally get it again. My 9yr old got the Paneer Wrap and he loved every bit said it was a 2-3 out of 10 spice level and he ate the entire thing. We added a couple of the garlic naan. We love garlic and it was super garlicky which we appreciated. On the house they gave us the vegan mini samosas which were good and with that sauce, incredible. The staff was so sweet they also gave us a few samples of the soft serve which is also vegan. We had the mango and the chai and everyone loved them. There was 5 of us. Three of us loved the mango more and two of us loved the chai soft serve more. All and all it was such a wonderful experience and the food leaves you wanting more and more. The staff was so sweet, very patient and so helpful especially Emily she went above and beyond and made us feel like family coming back to our favorite place and now it is. We all agreed Rasa is our new favorite and we will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you Rasa not only for having such exceptional food, for being soooo vegan and vegetarian friendly but also for the super friendly knowledgeable staff who truly took care of us. Cant wait to go...

To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Melissa from RASA, the vibrant fast-casual Indian restaurant with five locations across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. As a frequent patron, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand the exceptional service and culinary excellence that Melissa helps bring to life at RASA, including at their Fairfax location at 2905 District Avenue #160, Fairfax, VA.

RASA stands out for its chef-curated bowls and wraps, bursting with bold flavors and crafted with a focus on healthy, fast-casual dining. Melissa’s dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied is a key part of what makes RASA special. Whether she’s assisting with menu recommendations—highlighting signature dishes like the vibrant bowls available across their Virginia locations—or managing operations with a warm, professional touch, her passion for the RASA experience shines through.

Melissa’s ability to connect with customers and uphold RASA’s mission of delivering flavorful, healthy fast food is truly commendable. She exemplifies the spirit of a team that has successfully expanded to five thriving locations, each offering a fresh take on Indian cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend Melissa for any role or recognition that values leadership, customer focus, and a genuine love for culinary...

We’ve been dining at Rasa in Merrifield for a while now, and every single experience has been fantastic! The food is always top-notch, with vibrant flavors that never disappoint. A particular favorite in our family is the shrimp — it’s always made fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor. We also can’t get enough of the rice noodles, which are always cooked perfectly and a great pairing to any dish.

But what really sets Rasa apart is the amazing service, especially from Melissa and Evelin. As parents of picky eaters, it can sometimes be tricky finding a place that can accommodate our children's preferences. Melissa and Evelin are always so kind and patient with our kids, going out of their way to ensure they have options that suit their needs. They’ve truly made our dining experience a joy every time we visit.

Rasa is the perfect blend of excellent food and exceptional service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a welcoming,...

#DC RASA, a fast casual Indian restaurant, just opened up its newest location in Mosaic, located in Fairfax, VA. They're known for serving up vibrant build-your-own and chef-inspired bowls, plus classic cocktails and homemade vegan soft serve twisted with Indian flavors. 🍦We tried their Garlic Naan, Samosa Chaat, Chicken Tikki bowl, Sweet Potato Tikki bowl, mango lassi and their soft serve. The most underrated item was their soft-serve twist of mango lassi and chai! So good!!! ⭐️Follow to stay updated on the latest openings in the DMV! #washingtondc #districtfoodies #mydccool #dcist #dmvfoodie #rasa #exploredc #visitdc #fairfaxva #visitfairfax #dcfoodie #dcfoodporn

Rasa at Mosaic District is such a refreshing concept — it’s like the Indian version of Chipotle or Meeza, but with a lot more flavor and personality. You get to build your own bowl with bases like Saag Paneer or Chicken Tikka Masala, and top it with a great variety of veggies, chutneys, and sauces. They have so many interesting toppings — from mango salsa, green chutney, and tamarind chutney, to roasted lentils, crispy chips, and even Indian namkeen for that perfect crunch. The sauces are full of flavor — especially the yellow, orange, coconut, and garlic sauces, which all add their own twist. We sat outside and enjoyed the cozy Mosaic District vibe. The rice options (plain and lemon rice) were perfectly cooked, and both the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala bases were rich and authentic. Overall, a wonderful spot to enjoy Indian food in a modern, casual setting. Definitely planning to come back to try a few more combinations next time!
