I placed and paid for a meal online with an 8:00 PM pickup time at this location. Upon arrival, I showed my receipt as proof of payment and confirmation. The gentleman working at the counter told me that I did not have an order, refused to even look at my receipt, and would not prepare my meal.
When I asked for a refund, he flatly denied my request and told me to “call headquarters.” He then locked the store, leaving me without the meal I paid for or my money back. I pleaded with him for several minutes, explaining that this was a meal for my family, yet he showed no empathy or willingness to resolve the issue. Another employee stood by without offering any assistance.
This experience was not only humiliating but also felt like theft — I paid for food and was denied both the product and a refund. I am requesting the following immediately: A full refund for my order. Assurance that this location and its staff will be addressed regarding this unacceptable behavior. Confirmation that steps will be taken to prevent this from happening to other customers.
I scrambled together money to provide dinner for my family, and to be treated this way was deeply hurtful and completely unacceptable. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. I am basing this review solely on my most recent experience.
Upon entering the store, I noticed two unattended children sitting at a table. The cashier, who I believe was their mother, was conversing with them in their native language. The employee who prepared my sandwiches seemed preoccupied with observing whether her, I'm assuming boyfriend, had left the premises, frequently glancing out the window looking for him. Went in to get a replacement, employee purposefully remade cold cut with only bologna, not the Turkey and ham also included with it. Also asked for the previous sandwich back. Which I know she was not supposed to do because cross-counter contamination. The employee did not seem apologetic just let me to know that she was busy on the inside orders and couldn't focus on the online order. I felt really disrespected and as if she was unprofessional.
