I would like to share my story...I had a very frustrating experience here. PLEASE FINISH READING THIS, to understand the 5 STAR RATING.... I was at this Subway and I was the only customer in the store, and had 2 sandwiches made in front of me from a call in order, I arrived a little early, Some of things they did, I didn't feel were correct handling my order and how it was constructed, and yes I was very attitudish by the end of this transaction. First, I personally would like to apologize to all of you for my attitude. I am sorry. Second, I would like to Thank the manager for doing his best to control the situation when I called back mad and frustrated.Thank you. Third, I would like to Thank the Area Director also, who just happened to walk in while I was on the phone, and calmed me down 10 seconds into our conversation.Thank you. In the ways our dining has had to change in these times we are facing, it WILL eventually get to everyone of us sooner or later, customers and wait staff and employees, and tonite It got to me, BAD...and again I am sorry.. I expressed my concerns to Monty, the Area Director, and was heard, I have frequented this location for many years and it IS THE BEST SUBWAY in my area HANDS DOWN. For the way you handled me and my concerns, I will tell everyone, I learned again, there are great places that you will experience not so great things in, but if we are calm, Express our concerns in a civil manner, they can be addressed. THIS IS THE BEST SUBWAY IN CHESTER and I will be back, Thank you Monty. Also, Thank you to the employee ARTISANS, that sometimes, UNFORTUNATELY have to put up with a grumpy ole man like me, keep up the great work! Sincerely...
Read moreI gave this store an awful review because there was three people working and there was three customers out front not only did 1 sweet old lady do all of the word which is including making bread helping other customers get water cups and making my sandwich while people out back are doing nothing except for f** around and (I can hear them) I have worked at Subway for 5 years so this is very unprofessional to watch the customer is always first I was a manager at a subway in New Hampshire I hope that the young man with long greasy hair (who I should have gotten his name) that told me to shut up after I expressed my opinion on how unfair it was that the old lady sadie (I think her name was) who was wonderful by the way was doing all the work while they clearly could have been helping me in the meantime I hope he gets what he deserves and that's a write-up in my opinion if not fired that is completely disrespectful to talk to your customers and such a vulgar manner you smile and wave no matter how rude or High Strung somebody may be you don't know somebody's day. That's all I have to say probably appreciate the higher-ups giving Sadie kudos for her good hard working mentality I saw that today and I appreciate it great...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable. I walked out and won’t be back. I stopped here for lunch — something I do often as I travel for work — and ordered a footlong teriyaki chicken. When the meat was added, it didn’t even come close to covering the sandwich. Multiple bites would have had no chicken at all. When I pointed this out, the employee told me it was pre-portioned and he couldn’t do anything about it.
He offered to call the manager, who came over and claimed the portion was 3 oz. I asked if he could weigh it to confirm, and his exact words were, “I ain’t getting the scale out for you.” That’s the level of professionalism here. I explained it looked light compared to nearly every other Subway I’ve been to across the country and that it might’ve been portioned incorrectly. He insisted other stores don’t weigh anything — as if he somehow knows what happens in every Subway nationwide — and flat-out refused to check.
At that point, it felt less like he didn’t care and more like he didn’t want to get caught skimping portions. I left, and I won’t be returning — not to this location, and probably not to any Subway for a long time. If this is the level of service Subway stands behind, it’s not worth the money...
