Worst experience today with incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. A group of 5 professionals ordered online, waited 15 minutes, and then went to the location to pick up our food. We figured after order 20 or so minutes in advance (by the time we get there) it would be plenty of time. We walk in and there is no line and there are 8 people working behind the counters. We wait 5 minutes standing at the register and not one person asks us if they can help us. We finally say excuse me and ask for some assistance to which someone asks what we ordered. This individual is short with us but looks for our flatbreads. 4 of the 5 are ready at this point. We had also ordered smoothies with our flatbreads but no one helped us with that. Again we waited another 2-3 minutes to see if anyone would help but there was no response so yet again we had to ask for assistance. The girl that answered said "you have to ask them" and points to the 2 girls working the smoothies. So we wait again. Finally we ask again if our smoothies are ready and one individually rudely answers and says "you see all those smoothies over there, they are probably them" but they were all in a to go container together so we knew that wasn't true. This person then goes to the back to check the freezer and of course all 5 of our smoothies are there and had been sitting there for 20+ minutes at this point. In addition to the flatbreads and smoothies we had ordered chips and they only had 3 options available sitting out. I asked one of the workers if they had more in the back and the rude individual who grabbed our smoothies told the person trying to help to go back to what they were doing and said you choose from what is out there. I can understand if they were busy (they weren't), and I can understand if they didn't have other chip options (I don't think this was the case) but the overall rude and unprofessional manner that the staff handled our orders is unacceptable. Read moreI used to love this location, but the last 1 or so year I believe the location has transferred owner (s). I have noticed a pattern of lack of sanitation and supplies in the ladies room/ restroom being out several times over the months. Recently - I purchased food items and noticed there was an issue with placing my order, and a promotion for 1 food get 1 free smoothie, I actually attempted to purchase 3 food items, (which would assume 3 free smoothies, but the order was not working/ error. I re - attempted for over 1 hour and rechecked to see if the order placement had been successful - unfortunately no, I went ahead and purchased my 3 food items without the smoothie promotion working. I spoke to the young lady at the counter, who did usually there most times when I have been there in the past to pick up/ order, and I asked her for her assistance, and explained the issue to her. I had to explain the very same problem with my order placement not recognizing the smoothie promotion, she was consistently refusing to listen. I felt unheard, and she never apologized, or offered to look into the problem to resolve it. Ultimately- I ended up waiting an additional 20-23 min in person in my attempt to get help from this young lady at the front counter/ register, received zero understanding of my problem, refused to listen to my/ customer concern, did not acknowledge what I was attempting to ask help for, did not apologize, and walked away from the front counter/ register area and left me standing there and did NOT return to the front counter. I wouid like to share this incident on here as this young lady’s actions were not only disrespectful to me/ customer who is asking for help, in addition to the restroom sanitation/ neglected issue that I have seen as a pattern over the months, and just such a terrible experience (s) that I will not be returning to this location. Read moreMy son and I love Tropical Smoothie, so we used to go here 2-3 times a week. However, I am thoroughly appalled by their customer service.
I found a piece of metal on the bottom of my 2.5 year old's smoothie (I am so glad he didn't swallow it!). I contacted corporate immediately, and someone from the local store contacted me the next day. Without a sincere apology, he asked for pictures. I sent the pictures (also kept the piece of metal for evidence) and was informed that someone would contact me after investigation in a few days. After more than 2 weeks, I didn't hear back so I called them on Monday, July 27, and the manager assured me that he would call back within two days after talking to his partner. Well, It is now Thursday night, and I have yet to hear back.
I expressed my concern as it was found in my child's drink, but it is clear that customer safety (much less satisfaction) is not a priority for them. I would have at the very least expected an explanation for the metal found in my drink or at least a refund, but...
