Customer service is decent. Food prepared to order. Rice was perfect, but could use more butter on top, the Koobideh (ground beef kabob) was too hard, lean and dry. And unfortunately they stopped making available a small portion of “sabzi” with each entree. With that small, but important piece to the puzzle missing, the experience feels incomplete and inauthentic. The “sabzi” consisted of fresh herbs, a tiny piece of feta, a small piece of radish & an 1/8 of a fresh white onion. You can’t eat Iranian Kabob without these offered and enjoyed with the meat and rice. Other than these things, this chain is the best for consistency at every location. My family and I have been patronizing this location, as well as their Tyson’s location for over 25 years. And we have tried all the other Iranian restaurants in the...
Read moreI placed an order here for the Family Platter. The staff on the phone was very courteous and efficient. He answered all my questions and took time explaining the dishes. The food was ready in 15 minutes. They offer curbside pickup. In today's Covid world, this is important. I chose option#1. It came with 3 skewers of kubideh (beef), 1 skewer joojeh (chicken), and 1 skewer of either chenjeh or barreh (beef or lamb - you get to pick). In addition, it comes with either 2 appetizers or desserts. Sides are rice and pita bread. I requested for more bread instead of rice. But they let you substitute it with salad only. The food tasted really good. I picked their sauteed eggplant appetizer. It was particularly delicious. I highly recommend it. The sauces and the pita bread were great also. I will definitely go...
Read moreMobey Dicks is a well known establishment, known for its delicious kabob. I visited after a long day of cleaning out a storage unit and I wanted food I knew was good (no gamble) and reasonably priced for the portions given ( my husband and I generally share a chicken kabob plate). We both were satisfyingly stuffed after our visit. The staff behind the counter were polite and efficient. I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because when choosing a table (mind u at their busy hour), some of the tables were dirty and unavailable. This is not a large restaurant, but they have done well with the room that they have. If you have never tried kabob (I know a few ppl who have not) or like me, you haven't had kabob in quite some time; then stop by for take out or to dine in. I doubt you'll be...
