Do you remember the last time you walked out of a restaurant and thought, "That was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while?" For me, that was Murasaki, but I thought that before I even stood up from the sushi bar. From the first order to the special treat I had at the end, I was treated like an honored guest. And, that's just a comment on the service. When I say that Murasaki had the best quality sushi I've ever tasted, you must know 2 things. First, I mean that when I say it. Second, I've had exceptional sushi in Los Angeles, CA, and New York, NY. I'd heard about high quality fish having an almost buttery texture, but I hadn't experienced it until Murasaki. My sushi standards are forever raised after eating their fish. All in all, Murasaki is a place I'd take a date, a politician, a business client, or anyone else that I was trying to impress. I suggest you do the same.

For some reason, this is the second time this negligence has happened to me! The restaurant is very nice, the owner and staff are very friendly, and I try to eat here once a week, but for God's sake, it shouldn't be this difficult to make California Roll B in a place that only focuses on sushi. We were eating once and we ordered California roll b but it came completely devoid of masago. When we told the waiter, she took the food away, they did not make a new one and brought it back with the same sprinkle on it. Please! This is far from sushi. Now it is really annoying to come home without checking the package and encounter the same view for the second time... As I said, the restaurant is nice but sometimes it can cause such disappointments, please tell your chefs to be careful.

We ordered a sushi set, shrimp tempuras, and noodle soups for a gathering at home. The food was of delicious quality, especially the sushi set we ordered. It was freshly made and tasted great. The shrimp tempuras were also good - large-sized shrimp battered in panko and fried in fresh oil to give a delightful crunch and a good taste. However, we were not happy with the noodle soups. We liked everything we tried from this restaurant, but the personality of the noodles needed to be clarified, especially the pork broth. The pork broth was mild and lacked the expected pork broth flavor. Despite this, since we enjoyed the sushi set, we plan to order more from this restaurant soon.

One of the best sushi restaurants in the area. Love the atmosphere and extremely attentive staff. The tempura was superb. Other sushi restaurants have been rather sterile, with blonde, luxury vinyl with hollow floors and blonde, tiny tables with rather noisy atmosphere. Murasaki is the opposite and just what I wanted. It has a comfortable and edgy setting, large booths with fabric cushions (not vinyl!) in blue small flower blossom pattern (photo below) and colorful pillows, dynamic and colorful decor, and a setting where you can have a quiet conversation. Prices were very fair and the lunch box was huge. Can't wait to go back.

Super nice and friendly staff with great service. The owner walks around and greets all customers. Love their family-friendly atmosphere too. The quality of food is just ordinary. My family ordered Chirahsi regular, miso Ramen, Chicken Teriyaki box, and Donburi. The quality of sashimi on Chirashi was just ok. I could eat them all, but they were definitely not top-notch. Miso Ramen was too blend and Donburi was hard to eat. Teriyaki and tempuras were good. Decent japanese place for it’s cheaper price. I wouldn’t go here if you are looking for the best japanese cuisine in the area.

The food and service was incredible. There was a four years old with us and he got a whole Meiji chocolate bar as a treat! The food was yummy and visually appealing. There was the salmon dinner bento box, green tea mochi ice cream, and many more. The salad dressing that they use is different from other places which was well received by everyone in the group. It was more sweet and less watery than other Japanese places. It was a lot of delicious food for six people and a toddler for a reasonable price. Well worth it and would recommend to others.
