Baja Fresh — Restaurant in Fairfax

Called the store to express my issue with receiving food with sour cream after requesting NO sour cream and finding hair in my food. .The manager instead of apologizing immediately checked my receipt and told me it says nothing about no sour cream then after rechecking the door dash order saw that it did say no sour cream. She then began to tell me to call door dash. I then stated to her I knew I could speak with door dash but my even bigger issue was the hair in my food. She then asked if I wanted to come to the restaurant and fix the issue after I already stated to her that I had no car which is why I doordashed the food to my job for lunch. She then got back onto how I could call doordash! I then told her " you should've apologized about the hair in my food not tell me who to call" I simply hung up. She was latina. Smh. I understand it can be busy and tough working with the public I do it at both jobs. Customer service is a must. If you cannot do it simply work elsewhere. It was my first time ordering from Baja Fresh. I was there Saturday night, not too busy. I was the only one in line and I told the cashier I needed a minute because it was my first time. A few seconds of me looking at the menu she goes “are you ready?” I was a tad caught off guard, but I went to order a Baja chicken bowl. Before I could say the word chicken, she goes “black or pinto beans?” I realize it was only her working the cashier, but there was no one else in line and I felt extremely rushed and she seemed annoyed. The food and vibe is like California Tortilla. The bowl itself didn’t look good, but it was tasty. I may try Baja again, but will most likely not go back to this location. It's been about a year since I've had Baha Fresh. I had a taste for a burrito enchilada style. I then saw the tortillas soup, and that brought back memories. I loved the soup BF makes. I placed my order, picked it up, and was ready to dive in when I got home. The burrito was good, not great like I remember. Tried the tortilla soup, and it has changed. It was more tomato based and not as much chicken. I also bought churros for dessert, and was disappointed with them. They were overcooked and hard to chew. I always enjoyed BF.
