I last been here when they opened at this location. It was 2 stars back then . I was checking reviews of here recently and so I knew I needed to investigate. When I arrived the lady checking in people was very nice and did her job well. She told us 35 to 45 minute wait time and it just made it under 45 minutes when she called me. It took a while to figure out what I wanted to try the Ceasar salad was a 9 out of 10. Was no wow factorbut was made perfectly. The dressingwas plentifuland was mixed verywell. Next I chosen chicken and shrimp that was sautéed with mushrooms and onions. It had a Cajun seasoning to it and it was cooked to perfection all around. I was quite surprised. It was accompanied by red mashed potatoes. I thought of those as better than average. I also ordered a bourbon burger. It was very good all around. Nice bun and fresh toppings. The fries to me were average. They didn't have the crispy outside with soft inside that I consider to be the standard. I always like to spot things places could improve on and I have two on this review. First: the benches in the waiting room was nice but they are in need of backing. With a long wait, the window seal sure puts a beating on my back. Second: the bathroom... they do regular cleaning and have chart to prove it but it is a basic one. They really took care of my boyfriend and I on our 5 year anniversary dinner. We had gone to Red Lobster down the street at first. We waited 30 minutes and no one came to our table to even offer us drinks. The restaurant was pretty empty, there were only about 5 tables being used. Our waiter would pass by us but wouldn't approach us. 2 other couples came in after us and they got attended right away. It lead my boyfriend and I to think that because we are an interracial couple they did not want to serve us. I for one was devastated, with tears in my eyes I called the manager and told her what had just happened and how we felt. We asked her to speak to her staff to prevent that from happening again in her restaurant...its not a pleasant feeling.

We took our business to Applebees where they rescued our anniversary. Even though they were packed they got us in right away our waitress was amazing!! She was so kind and attentive to us, she really made us feel welcomed. Within 20 minutes she had our food ready. We were completely satisfied and explained to her what had just happened to us at Red Lobster. We had a very nice evening at Applebees. At the end of our meal the waitress gave us desserts to show her appreciation of our business. Thank you Applebees for having amazing staff and saving...
