Deli Delicious #61 - Acequia Ave. — Restaurant in Visalia

My fiance and I went there maybe like 25-30 min before closing. I had never tried this place out but my fiance had so he was the one telling me how great the sandwiches are and how I have to get fries because they're so good (you get the point).

We arrived and the place was empty. We were the only customers in there. The young lady who approached the register was kind of nice but she had a bad attitude. She looked annoyed that we were there. I'm sure it was because they were cleaning up already and had put all the food away. Which makes absolutely no sense to start cleaning up so early before closing.

Anyway, she tells us that we can't order fries or any salads because they're gonna close soon. Which to us was ridiculous and showed poor customer service. Especially because she said sorry with an attitude like she could care less about what we wanted. I can understand the fries because they probably turned off the fryer BUT who can't make a damn salad 25 minutes before closing?? That was just pure laziness of not wanting to get the stuff out and then put it away again. Smh. When we ordered she asked if we were going to eat there or take it with us and we said well you're closing right so we'll take it. She made a face out of annoyance. Again poor customer service.

When we got home my fiance noticed that the other half of his sandwich was not the right bread he ordered. And the other half appeared to have no cheese. Again, we were the only ppl in there and they still messed up our order. Altogether, it was a poor experience and I don't know if I'd go...

I’ve been coming to this location for the last 6 months. Every time I place my order, I just HOPE that they get it right. I love their sandwiches, but something is always going wrong with my order. This time, not only did I wait about 45 minutes for an order I placed ONLINE, but my food is COLD because it was sitting on their counter the entire time that I was waiting for it. They said they needed a few more items but never touched my bag. After being the last one in the store waiting for my food, they finally approached me again asking which order I was waiting for. After I told them my name, they went over to the counter and gave it to me. My hot sandwich and fries are now cold. This is ridiculous. All staff seemed indifferent...

I am a usual here because we order it a lot at work which is down the street! The manager is very involved and helpful. The girls there are always happy and helpful. They get whatever you need and they all work very well when the line is all the way to the door during lunch rush hour. I have never had any issues with any orders. I typically order online and pay when I get there. I have never had to wait for my order when I got there. The food is delicious!! They give more in the subs than any other place I have been to. I recently gave up carbs (I know) but their lettuce wraps are amazing and I don't feel like I am missing a thing!! The environment is very relaxing and the place is always very clean! Highly recommend...
