The operation at this McDonald's is a mess. It is obvious that there is no leadership, and training is dismal. After waiting 20 minutes just to place my order, in a line only 5 cars deep... I ordered a Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese MEAL. After waiting another 10 minutes to pay and receive my order, I did not get any fries with my order. When I went around to the front door, the door was locked (they closed early) After someone finally came to the door, I was told by an employee that my MEAL did NOT come with fries, because the ticket did not say fries on it (the receipt was very hard to read, see photo). I explained that it said MEAL on the ticket which means it come with a soda and FRIES. The employee then told me, "Well I'm on my break, so..." Another employee came back with a side of fries and the one "on break" told me that I wasn't charged for it "but we are giving you one anyway, just so you know!" Not only was that obviously wrong, the condescending attitude from this employee was shocking. I have paid my fair amount of dues working in fast food in the past, I know it's not a cake walk especially when its understaffed and busy. I'm often willing to give food service workers a large amount of grace in these types of situations, but this was just an outrageous experience. The staff, starting with the manager, do not care anymore. They are just going through the paces. I know its hard to find workers right now but this kind of environment is not going to help them recruit nor retain employees, same goes for customers. Read moreI wish I could give no stars. Rude employees. The managers are the absolute worst. Ordered my food and sat in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes because a single car. I called the restaurant while in line and when I asked what was taking so long I was hung up on. When I finally got to the payment window I asked to speak to manager and told him no customer should have to wait 20 minutes in a fast food drive thru. I told him that if one customer is holding up the line then that customer should be asked to pull to the side so that everyone else can get their food. His response was "well that's not how we do things here." Then walked away. No apology. No I'm sorry for the wait. No offer to remedy the situation in any way. When I got to the second window my food was already done and waiting. I pulled to the side so other cars could get their food and my food was already cold. I'm not talking about luke warm. I'm talking needed to be reheated cold. And my mcflurry was almost completely melted. It was like Oreo soup with a spoon full of ice cream. Had I not been so incredibly angry at the entire situation and having worked all day and just wanted to go home, I would have turned right back around and let them know how unhappy I was. Unfortunately I don't know it would have done any good because management doesn't seem to care about customer service and obviously doesn't care about customer satisfaction. Read moreI went here 30 minutes ago just to buy a large fries and a sweet tea. I went to the lobby because the drive thru looks busy. The guy in the front counter does not look like he’s ready to work, shirt’s untucked, and looks like he just woke up. I ordered large fries and a large sweet tea. Told him if he can make the fries freshly cook and he said okay. So 15 minutes later, He still gave me the not so old but almost saggy ones. I said “can I get a fresh ones?” He grabbed the large fries with an attitude. I was speechless and acted professional of course. So the other person from drive thru helped him out and guess what, they still gave me the not so old but almost saggy fries after 10-15 minutes later. This was, by far, my worst experience in a McDonalds and I rarely go to one. I used to work in a Mcdonalds restaurant before but we don’t tolerate people like this. The wait time is ridiculous too, 30 minutes for a large fries?. There were like 5 batches of fresh fries went back and forth and this guy in the front counter had no clue what to do next. The drive thru people which consist of a runner and the one who give the food out does not even realize that this young fellow needs help so badly. So the total wait time is 30 minutes just for that large fries. Good thing I’m not a secret shopper, I’ll fail this store so badly. And by the way, the sweet tea was not made properly. When you brew it at least stir the sugar good before you transfer it to your container.
