After a long weekend and a wedding that all our guests came from out of state I decided to order food for everyone from your restaurant out of all the places due to supposedly excellent customer service and food. But myself and the people that came with me were all VERY DISAPPOINTED, we spent $423 on food, I am attaching the receipt with this email. We asked the cashier ahead of time if we could have plates, utensils, and cups especially after purchasing 5 gallons of Lemonade. And the cashier told me, yes that they could provide snice I was spending such a large amount. At the time of the purchase there was obviously no other places open at 1am to purchase the things we needed to eat and drink with. Once all the food was ready for pick up, the cups were not available with our order. I went back to the counter and still have not left the restaurant and spoke to the cashier and he mentioned that he could not provide us with the cups, and he stated that he had corrected himself the first time after already saying "yes we could have it with our large purchase." which was a lie he did not correct himself. The manager Courtney came, and said in a firm tone "no, we are not giving cups" We told Courtney that it was no about the cups, but the fact that the cashier lied and said we could have the cups but not back tracking his story of what he told us. Especially after we spent over $400 in food. Courtney simply disregarded us and disrespected us and told us that we have to leave the restaurant. When I tried to ask for her name, she was trying to go around not giving us her name. After all this we were all super DISAPPOINTED, and I never felt such a way in a restaurant especially with my guests coming from out of state.

Cool place to hang out and have your burger. Also their lemonade is a good choice!

As usual, after my families Sabbath Day we choose somewhere to eat for the night, and Canes happened to be the place for the week. We arrived at the restaurant location on Mooney and Caldwell in Visalia Ca at 7:55pm Saturday night, to a double row of cars lined up way back at least 15 deep. The employees were courteous, our order and payment was taken quickly and politely. We received our drinks and food at 8:41pm that's a total of 46 minutes in the drive through. We ordered 1 Bonus Box and two Caniacs, our drink sizes were different than what was posted in the menu, we received three 22oz drinks but we should have gotten 1, 22oz and 2, 32oz drinks, a plus was that the food didn't smell like burnt grease. When we arrived home I took the photos of my meal to post for this review. My first bite was into one of these "famous" chicken fingers, and I wasn't that impressed, there was no flavor, but the meat was moist, the breaded batter was crispy, and there was no burnt oil taste. If you enjoy sauce with your chicken then that's where your flavor will come from. The Texas toast was good, warm and crunchy. The fries and soda were really the only thing that was expected to taste as usual and they did. I don’t eat slaw so I can't speak on that. I've had some really good chicken in my life so all in all I'll give this meal a 6 out 10. I definitely wouldn't wait 46 minutes in a drive thru 15 cars deep again for it, maybe 20 minutes on a good day.

Not friendly, not worth it.

I am extremely offended by my treatment as a prospective customer, at this soon-to-be-open Visalia location. As a nearby business owner, I was offered the opportunity to test their new restaurant before it opened. They failed. I arrived right in the middle of the 30 minute window I was given.

After driving around to get to the end of a massive line, I was greeted by several security guards that confirmed my special one-day invitation, and position in line. 15 minutes later, just as I'm about to enter their drive thru, another guard begins rudely telling cars to suddenly leave, with employees and management in easy ear shot. I was confused and tried to get clarification, but was only forced to leave by angry yelling saying "they're closed, leave now".

The 2 cars in front of me, and 6 behind were just as bewildered and upset from what I saw. It was 7:02pm, exactly 2 minutes past my invitation's pickup window. 3 cars up and I would have been enjoying some chicken. What an absolutely fabulous way to treat invited guests, especially those that work in extreme proximity of this new eyesore of a building. The invitation was for free food, but I would have easily paid to save the disappointment from my family, excited to try a new restaurant we have literally never eaten at despite their many other locations.

The restaurant we went to after that was very grateful for our patronage, and relieved to hear about the supposed competition. Really I'm grateful to get a glimpse of what surely would have been endless future drive thru lines I would have experienced on my future lunch breaks. No chicken is worth what I can only assume by my experience, to be incompetent management, extremely slow service despite a limited test menu, and insane on the dot closing times.

I will not return, and hope others follow my example. Our town doesn't need disrespectful chicken. They say you can tell a lot about a business by how they treat their first customers, it kind of sets the tone for them at their best. I wish them good...

We've eaten there four times; the first time was a delivery through Grubhub, I believe, and I can say that the food that was delivered was much better than dining in the restaurant! The three times we've been in the restaurant, the chicken has been cold, and even though I asked for fries extra, extra crispy, three times when ordering, they were limp. I let them know both times the food was subpar, but all I received in return was a shoulder shrug from the manager. On this last visit, I told the cashier that in the past, the food wasn't prepared properly, and teasingly, I said, "But you're going to make sure it's perfect, right?" We both laughed, and I ordered our food. Three times during the ordering process, I asked for the fries to be extra, extra crispy. The final time when she was reading the order back to me, I told her that I wanted the fries extra, extra crispy on both meals. It's not a hard ask, especially since there were two orders with the same fry request. As we were cleaning up, the gal who took my order walked by and asked how we liked the food. I told her that the fries were limp, not extra crispy. She said, "Well then, next time, tell them extra, extra crispy," to which I replied, "I believe that's exactly what I asked for, right?" She turned red and walked away. By the way, I can tell when old fries have been cooked again to "crisp" them up because it doesn't work! I did like the coleslaw. Also, the music is way, way too loud, and I like loud music!

I want to love this place, but they'll have to step it up a ton for me to try it again! What a shame for a restaurant a year...
