The manager, Kyle, ruined my little sister's graduation over a "Lucky Duck" drink.
The drink in question was purchased with the intent of keeping the unique bathtub cup along with it, as advertised on the menu. There was no mention of a low stock at all when we purchased the drink, and there was nowhere on the menu that stated the drink was in a limited supply.
As we prepared to leave and settle the bill, we requested to purchase the bathtub cup that was advertised as my sister wanted to keep it to commemorate her graduation.
We were told no, after already purchasing the drink, and so we requested the manager. At first, we were told he "stepped outside and was busy" so we proceded to wait for about 15-20 minutes for him to return.
Upon doing so, we explained the situation to him. Unfortunately, and rather rudely, Kyle refuted our request due to them being low on stock (yet selling us the drink anyway, not warning us of the lack of stock beforehand.)
He then proceeded to get an attitude over the situation and did little to help us or meet us halfway, instead getting irate over "people stealing the cups". Of course this made absolutely zero sense as we were attempting to PAY him right then and there, and we even offered to pay double for it since it was a simple occasion.
Of course, Kyle did absolutely nothing to alleviate the problem. Keep in mind, this was at a table with about 8 people and a bill well over $350+ dollars, as well as a graduation celebration.
In essence, Kyle effectively ruined my sister's graduation party and completely ruined any chance of us ever returning to the establishment over a $10 dollar cup. If I COULD give this less than a one star review, I WOULD. I would even give negative stars due to the bad taste it left me towards the restaurant.
If you ever think about eating here, DON'T. If you still decide to eat here, do NOT expect any kind of reasonable service if an issue big or small ever arises at your table. Kyle does not care about you, your friends, your family, and especially does not care about the kind of service that you recieve.
At least when you want a special cup from McDonalds they tell you that they're out of stock before selling you...
Read moreWe went for dinner tonight after a long day at the fair. The server "A. Vitalane" (I'm honestly not sure on name, didn't introduce herself and this is what is on the receipt) was not great. So much so we didn't leave a tip. And we always tip well. Like I said, no name, took a while for drinks, we wanted maybe 5 min w/menu and got 15min before she came back, husband picked here so he could get pumpkin beer, (got and was good) then wanted pecan porter, she went to go get/ask and took 15min to come back and say they were our of nitro beers (this is not a nitro beer) so he said just water, no more beer because she was always taking ao long to come back to us. She had maybe 4 tables tops, just kept seeing her standing and talking to other workers. She never used thank you, didn't smile, nothing. Her table before us stuffed an avocado roll in the stand up menu that no one noticed so we know the table wasn't cleaned properly, she said sorry Don't know why they did that. (Should have been our first clue) We got food, mine was supposed to be blackened shrimp tacos but they looked barely grilled. (Still tasted good) she came back a minute and asked if it was fine, we said yea as we hadn't even taken a bite. She never came back until we were all finished eating, asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, she walked off. Another 10min later she brought the bill and boxes, we have the bjs app tho, my husband wanted a 6pk of pumpkin beers and when we told her we wanted to have the ticket used on it she took the number, said nothing and walked off again. Another 10min later we got the correct bill back, said theybwere out of 6packs made her take the card as we were tired of waiting and she went to the register, then To The Back kitchen area with our card! We put a lock on it right away. Just sketchy. Haven't had any other charges as of yet but it was only a few hrs ago. SO, food was decent, but every time we have gone, the waiter/waitress are BAD. We used to go once a month, now it's maybe once every 6mo. We used to love going there. Wish they would hire some...
Read moreWe stopped here for lunch on our way back from SE Texas on a Sunday afternoon. It was conveniently located just off Hwy 6, with easy exit and return to the highway.
The restaurant was busy with a very full parking lot at almost 2:00 p.m.; consequently, all handicapped parking spaces were occupied. Of course, as we left most handicapped spaces were empty; it's all in the timing!
Entry into the restaurant was through a revolving door. That won't work for a wheelchair. Instead we used the ramp up to the door for take-out. On the ramp we saw a regular door next to the revolving door, so that's how we left. Entry was easy and convenient.
The atmosphere was casual and family oriented. There were many families with young children, as well as adult groups, and couples. At least six large screen TVs kept us current with different professional football games, including the Dallas Cowboys! It was a lively setting without being noisy and uncomfortable.
The menu is varied and bountiful! Choices range from simple to elaborate hamburgers, varieties of tacos, pizza and pasta, bowl dishes, salads, barbecue and grilled meats of many kinds, a varied and extensive beverage list, and finishes with desserts including "pookies"! We told our server we'd have to come every day for a year to eat our way through the menu!! He laughed and agreed.
Since we were driving all day we split a simple chicken sandwich and finished with an oreo-whipped cream, ice cream, and chocolate "pookie". A real treat, fresh and hot from the oven in a small metal baking pan. It was almost a chocolate overload, but not quite. It was a delicious meal and sharing worked well for a traveling day.
The restroom was fully wheelchair handicapped accessible!
It was a great dining experience. The food was great, the service was excellent, atmosphere was lively without being noisy and uncomfortable, and the facilities were fully wheelchair handicapped accessible. If we are in the area again we...
