Peter Piper Pizza — Restaurant in Waco

So I’ve never been one to ever write a review and told myself that if I did, then it’d either be a really great experience or a very terrible one. So I grew up all my life looking forward to eating great food and spending quality time with great people. Well, as of today I’ve gotten pretty fed up with the way I’ve been treated every-time and it’s only from one staff member, and according to my receipt his name is Donald and let alone, he is the manager. I asked for a buffet, then was told to go ahead and pay, so I got my Apple Pay out and was hovering it over the screen, then he aggressively said “hold up hold up you need to wait”, then he told me to go ahead and try it, then while I was paying, my friends told me he was rolling his eyes directly at me and being sarcastic. Then he threw my receipt at me and didn’t let me know that he gave it to me along with my wrist band, in which my friend had to hand it to me and let me know. Even after I left, I was told that he was looking at me very sarcastic. Me and my friends (who in which are Mexican) were treated very differently from the next customers (who were Caucasian) and showed them no disrespect and seemed to be in a better mood while they ordered compared to us. Today, (along with almost every time I order from him) in a moment that only lasted 2 minutes to order, Donald is the only person who has seemed to discourage me from coming back and I most likely won’t, I do not recommend coming here if you don’t wanna feel discriminated towards by him, food is...

Recently moved to Waco two weeks ago and took my 3 kids to eat here for lunch, not knowing the buffet ends at 2 pm. The GM allowed me to still get the buffet even though it was 2:09pm. and charged me full price. We grabbed our first helping, sat down, and started eating. My two littlest boys went straight to the games. While my older boy and I started eating. While starting to take our first bites, we looked up and noticed they were throwing away everything in the buffet area. I instantly got irritated as I just paid for my family to eat the food. So, I went to the register and talked with the GM about why they threw away the food that I literally just paid to eat. He stated that I told you that it ends at 2pm. Then, I replied, "Then why would you sell me the buffet if they were just going to throw it away. I asked for a discount or if I could get a pizza. He then gave me a medium-sized pizza for compensation. I went back to our table with the pizza. Then, I regrouped with little kids in the game area. We walked around the games for roughly 20 minutes and came back to our table, finding that all of our food had been cleared, only leaving the drinks behind. All the while my two little kids have yet to eat anything. I was so upset at this point we just walked out. I will never be returning to this establishment or referring it to anyone. I dont recommend if you have allergies to mushrooms...sadly i had a allergic reaction from an employee not wearing gloves or washing her hands while making pizza. I and someone else had the same allergic reaction. When i went up to the counter to see why there were mushrooms in a pepperoni pizza the man i asked said well the state doesnt require us to wear gloves we can wash our hands...he laughed when i told him if he could let her know that she was not cleaning her hands much less making sure no one else had a allergic reaction he laughed at me and said it is not his problem much less his job to make sure the pizza is made correctly...that i cant get my money back much less him tell his employee to not do what they should. So i highly dont recommend if you have any type of allergies that are from certain foods. He said the health board let's them not wear gloves and lets them pretty much not wash their hands if they choose not to...worst experience to be laughed at while having an allergic reaction. I got lucky it wasnt a severe one.

Update: my pizzas were replaced spoke with someone and they replaced my pizzas now we were able to enjoy them without an allergic reaction. So if you should have a problem and get treated the way i did call corporate they were more than happy to assist me with my problem im sure they will do the same...
